Everyone including Lynch knew Hawkins was going to be out on saturday.
If he had knuckled down in training and kept quiet about wanting to leave he would have played.
Lynch only has himself to blame for this.
I think he is a talented player but not as talented as he thinks he is. He is also...
Agreed they play in different ways but the general consensus is that we need to sign a central midfielder. Given that Virgo and Thomson seem to be Adams' first choices I was wondering who people thought would give way to a new signing if one was made.
Not sure how this is pointless.
To be honest as a ball winning central midfileder I have no problem with Virgo playing in midfiled. If he is to play in midfiled though he needs a creative player alongside him.
Ok so it's clear to everyone under the sun that we need a new midfield.
Personally I think we are ok out wide once Joe is back from suspension and McLeod is fit again but the central midfiled is an embarrassment.
Assuming we can only get one new central midfield player in who would you replace...
The slagging off of Murray is ridiculous.
At half time a guy behind me on his phone was telling someone how "Murray missed an open goal from a yard out". Absolute bollocks of course but why let the facts get in the way of an anti-Murray campaign.
Did you go to Yeovil?
After Scunthorpe I was suprised Lynch was not in the team but Hawkins had an absolute blinder and showed why he deserves his place in the team.
With Hawkins having an operation Lynch's chance was always going to come and I am very dissappointed that rather than working hard...
Disagree with the low marks being given for Virgo on here.
Yes he was out of position and ok he didn't exactly have a blinder but what he did do was get stuck in and give the midfield some bite. Something that was sadly lacking from the midfield against Scunthorpe.
I think he would be fine in...
Just got back from a weekend in Yeovil.
Cannot believe there is yert another thread slagging off Murray.
He worked very hard yesterday. Closed things down, chased and harried. Fancied him to get a goal until we went down to 10 and he was moved out to the right.
