Oh yes it is rather finely balanced. Of course he would likely get more game time at Forest or Southampton but it surely cannot be so much 'fun' losing most weeks compared to being with us at the moment. Would Forest suit his style? Hopefully he stays where he is for the season.
As has been mentioned earlier Tariq is in the squad and gets game time in most matches. Given how our results and performances are going I would say he gets the playing time his talents deserve.
I wouldn't imagine that he will be a definite starter elsewhere and if we were to go on loan I would...
It is good for us to have a manager with such personality and charisma. He will learn our ways in quick time and adapt. His approach is great and more than anything, honest and entertaining. That is what it should be about. Wonderful appointment TB and PB!!
He doesn't want to play for us and hasn't since he returned from the World Cup. I don't see that changing. Based on stats the £25million is low but the guy is 28 and is not going to get any better. Belgium will probably now be looking elsewhere. He is inconsistent in the extreme and one...
Yes I agree that all makes sense. I looked at what odds the bookies were giving and for some reason they were shorter on Spurs than anybody else. Mr Z is generally passionate in his player support so yes Trossard has much to do if he wants some sort of happy ending to this.
Until now I believe we have been tolerant of LT's wide disparity in performance in the knowledge that he will, by his skill, win enough games to keep us out of relegation trouble. Things have changed a little bit now in that we are increasingly seeing ourselves as a middle of the table side...
Interesting comment, at least to me, amongst the comments on the BBC website
'Common knowledge in Sussex that Potter and his wife were looking at property in West London before the season started. His wife couldn`t keep it to herself in the school playground. Then he gutted the backroom staff...
The referee would have brought a lot of pressure on himself to have given a foul there seeing as it would have disallowed the goal. A real 50/50 decision I think. We brought it on ourselves with none of Dunk/Webster/Sanchez coming out of it with credit. We got what we deserved.
It is part of a manager's job to manage a squad and have sufficient back up. It was nonsense to let Maupay go with no replacement. Welbeck has no goals this season and if you think that he should be starting each game now you are fooling yourself. Maupay has scored at least 8 goals a season...
Yes I built them when young and took to them again with lockdown. The fact that I cannot run around any more with my heart condition means that they are a good pastime. Some are in a display cabinet and are taking over in number from my golf trophies. My children encourage me as they are good...
