I get so pissed off with the patronising attitude of fans from the big 6 and there are plenty where I Iive. We should be so grateful for having had a manager who wasn't totally s...t and should accept the inevitability of him moving on to where he belongs. Arsenal fans are not required to be grateful for Wenger, Chelsea fans for Mourinho etc but us peasants should be pathetically thankful for any moments in the limelight.

I am one who is grateful to Potter for the time he spent here. However that does not excuse the ravaging nature of his departure which apparently is continuing as we speak and may well continue until the January transfer window. The whole thing stinks.

Who gives a shit about what the media thinks. Its just another opinion but with a bit more listeners than the average man.

Booing/hostility etc. is very likely to have a backlash however... Chelsea got a lot of experienced players who will just use the atmosphere as fuel.

Still, expect a fairly close game.

I see Potter wheeled out the same old nonsense yesterday when he was asked about the booing after the Leeds game. Could have knocked it down by pointing it out it was about 0.5% of fans involved and that he had received overwhelming support from almost everyone during his time here. Instead, built up the narrative again so there will be a very negative national response if he gets a poor reception. There were more boos after his first game in a charge of Chelsea! Personally, despite all he did, I now hope he hears what real booing sounds like for taking apart everything Albion had built so carefully over many years, only some of which was attributable to him.

Completely agree. What surprises me most is that very few point out that how bad this direction is for football as a whole. There’ll never be another Leicester. That’s now clear.
