To be fair, that was the general feeling from around the ground as far as I can gather. When the offical held up the numbers board there was certainly a chorus of boos from the South Stand, followed by insults thrown at MA. If I'm honest, I wasn't best pleased at the time that MA was taking off...
I have split loyalties here...
I was born, and grew up in Brighton and I live there now. So obviously East Sussex holds a special place in my heart.
However I've spent years working and formerly living in West Sussex, and I really like it there.
FENCE!
I think you'll find the sheer QUALITY of the pass he made directly following the FLAIR moment, more than warranted his actions!
Good to have him back :)
Oh, bugger!
Expect to see MA adopt a safe and secure 4-5-1 formation then! Men behind the ball, one up top to make sure we get a single point! It's all hands to the pump! :lolol:
I'm Kuipers second biggest fan (behind The Complete Badger). However I don't think Sully has done anything in the last few games to suggest he should be dropped, in fact quite the opposite! I'm all for a 'keep the shirt' policy, and therefore I think it's only right Sully remains between the sticks.
The way he worded his piece about JB in the Argus today was bang out of line. Who the hell is Naylor to say things like that? Is he on the payroll of the club or something? I'm tired of his one-sided journalism, it's getting very very boring now.
Well it would certainly make for better reading in his articles, so I can see where you are coming from.
However, I think it's got much more to do with his BLIND love for Micky Adams.
And this is EXACTLY what I mean!
By saying stupid things like this, Micky creates specualtion amongst fans when it is the LAST thing we need right now.
Yes, yes I am.
Because, although I would probably feel like doing the same thing in his shoes, it's just not professional.
But the biggest reason why it was so stupid, is because he has now just HEAPED pressure onto himself and his players. Do you really think that's what we need at the moment?
Correct.
If someone sends me a text on my radio show and tells me i'm rubbish at my job (which has been done before...). I would never EVER then open the mic and call them an idiot. Never in a million years!!
Why?
Because it's not professional, especially not in the public eye. Even more so...
Maybe these supporters felt it was the best time to tell Adams what they think of him, and his management of the team this season. To do it before the match would have more of an impact than after, when he jogs off to the dressing room.
We are all entitled to our opinions, Micky Adams included...
The way he still manages to get a little dig in at Wilkins is ridiculous. How the hell can he slate Wilkins and defend Adams?? His Adams obsessed journalism is SICKLY to read.
