And before you say anything about my user name....
When I signed up to this site, I didn't realise it was gonna be my forum user name, I just thought it would be a sign in name! Otherwise I would've chosen something different.
I'm WAY bhehind everyone else but here goes...
Just finished my first season, and finished 7th in League 1. I missed out on the playoffs by 4 points, but that was only after a fine run of form at the end of the season.
Just about to start pre-season again but it's all gone a bit pear shaped...
In answer to Ernest's original question; Why do we need Harty, or anyone else for that matter, to assist us in any so called 'campaign'?? Surely if there are 3-1 people on here in favour of 'Adams Out', then there are enough people to wage a campaign of sorts. Just a thought, like.
I think...
But we still got beat by a team who were absolute toilet. We created very little, and our defending for the second goal was shambolic. There really is nothing to cheer about.
:laugh::laugh::laugh:
You're pissed, right?
I believe in the team as well, I believe in the club and I have a lot of pride in supporting my team. However, I'm not proud of what's going on at the moment. I'm not proud of the way we played today. I'm not proud of where we currently sit in the...
How can you be happy with the performance we saw today? We were AWFUL for most of the game, against weak opposition. We had a few good spells, but then I'd expect that at home, wouldnt you? But it was not a 'pretty good performance'.
Knight was STUPID to sack a manager who had overacheived and had nearly guided us into the playoffs last season. No papering over the cracks. We finished 7th last season because we deserved it. It was Knight who made the cock up, and he owes it to the fans to put it right.
Forster is a class act who is obviously frustrated with others around him not pulling their weight. I could only pick four players who looked like they gave a shit today, and he was one of them.
Murray didn't look interested half the time, Forster did, and grabbed himself a goal. I know I'd...
Not a hell of a lot for me this year, what with getting older and all that!
I got a 2009 Albion Calendar, amongst lots of other Albion titbits.
But my BEST present was a genuine signed Albion football from this seasons squad! :)
:nono: Oh dear!
I bet if you could tell exactly when I posted the majority of those, you would find that hardly any of them are from the second half of 2008.
If I'd kept up with my post rate before, say May/June? I'd probably be higher in this league table!
I think Livermore has shown in the few opportunities that he has been given, that he looks a class above our other options.
I was really hopeful that he was going to be a star for us this season, and I'm a bit miffed as to why he has struggled to get into the team?
