Absolute joke, this is! I was really looking forward to the game today as well.
This is the second time in little over a year this has happened!
I feel sorry for all the people who travel in from long distances who are told at Mid'day that the game is on, only to be told an hour later...
An eventful year for all the wrong reasons...
Jan - My Grandad passed away.
May - Got jilted by girlfriend of three years, and nearly lost my job on the same day!!!
June-December - Moping around, not really going anywhere trying to get over said EX girlfriend.
The best moment of the year, for...
You cannot possibly blame Sullivan for the own goal! As a goalkeep he expects the ball played back to his feet. If Hinshelwood passes it a metre or two either side of him, what the hell is he supposed to do?
Hinshelwood was completely at fault for the goal. It really isn't that hard to pass a...
Cox will be a big miss today. I think he was by far one of our better players against Colchester, and it's a shame he has to miss out today.
As for Robinson, Micky will never give him a chance no matter what he does in the stiffs or when brought on as a 88th minute sub! Shame really.
I would lay a decent bet that if we get HAMMERED today, then he will either walk or get the sack before the Northampton game.
If we get beat 3 or even 4 nil, I think the game is up for him.
Well seeing as there were a few chants of 'Adams Out', I would assume that some of it was aimed at our manager. But I booed not only the manager, but the players as well. Imo there were only four players, maximum, who put in a decent shift on boxing day.
In answer to the question...Yes they did deserve to be booed off the pitch!
If not only for the fact that we lost again, but the fact we have a hapless manager and a team who looked like they didn't care at times. I'm sorry, but anyone who accepts Boxing day as a good performance is having a...
We had a good result at Swindon last year, and if I remember correctly Robinson scored a SCREAMER.
You remember the days, when we used to win now and again?
I think you should give the team talk US. Seriously! Besides which, I have heard that Micky doesn't always give team talks. So you may be pissing in the wind, so to speak.
No supporter should EVER want to see their team lose a game of football. But regardless of today's result, I think the wrong man is in charge of this football club.
I posted something similar on here a month or so ago, and I got SLATED.
I didn't go as far as this thread, but my theory is that we didn't want to get promoted this season. I don't believe we want to get relegated either because of Falmer and finance etc. I simply don't think we can afford to go...
Mayo and Hart should never have been given new deals at the club. Even if they've both taken pay cuts, it's a waste because neither of them are up to the job anymore!
We'd have been better off giving one new player a contract instead, someone useful who could've done a job for us!
I don't see why?
I present a completely unbiased version of events on my radio show, and that's because we are not in any way a 'Sports' station. If I were to be given the license to talk about football at length on air, then trust me I would say the same things as I do on here.
But...
On my game Andy Whing spent the entire second half of the season being ruled out by injury. It wasn't one lenghty injury that kept him out, it was one or two month injuries at a time but they kept happening. As a result he didn't play ANY part in the team from December. I fear that I have...
