Micky Adams should let the players decide his future today.

In the changing room today before kick off he should announce that he is going to resign this evening if we lose again. If we win ( or draw ) he will carry on. He should tell the players in no uncertain terms what a disgrace they have been to him this season and that if they want him gone they can do that by losing again. If however any of them are behind him and think they can collectively get out of this mess and move up the table play as we know he can and win the game for him.

This squad I even now believe should be challenging for a top 6 place and is the most underperforming squad I can remember in 35 years. Do they want Adams sacked ?. The way the are playing , the results and the games they are throwing away makes you wonder.

One thing is for sure no matter what Adams shortcomings have been this season the team have MASSIVELY let him down.

I think you should give the team talk US. Seriously! Besides which, I have heard that Micky doesn't always give team talks. So you may be pissing in the wind, so to speak.

I think it is time for Adams to play his Wild Card and tell the team, if they lose today he will resign and see what happens. This team can beat Swindon its just whether they can be bothered.

We had a good result at Swindon last year, and if I remember correctly Robinson scored a SCREAMER.

You remember the days, when we used to win now and again?

What the team needs most is an inspirational defender or midfielder as captain, I really don't like Forster being the captain, much as I like him as a player. One he's a forward, two he doesn't even seem to have the respect of his co-striker and three he moans rather than encourages.

Magnificent stuff...but from experience ( knowing and talking to individuals who have played team sports at international level )...they all agree that the manager and coaches are the most important element. However talented professional sportsmen/women are, they still need motivation, direction, training and tactics.
Footballers are not skillfull automatons who are just going to turn it on at the drop of a hat. You have to earn their respect.
Adams should take a break for two games and let Booker/ White run it...if there is a sudden improvement then it is obvious that he is the problem and should fall on his sword. If there is no improvement, then they should all go.
I'm all for Henry V stuff ( cry God and Harry for England etc ) but we have gone past this point.....something has gone dramatically wrong in communication between management and players and I don't believe it can be recaptured.
