I saw one of them! Wow! :p
On a more serious note, I agree with EVERYTHING WW has stated in this thread. The most baffling thing for me was Forster playing on the wing! I just couldn't understand that one at all.
I have a feeling we are going to BEAST them this evening. I believe there is a new found confidence amongst the team after recent results and new signings.
I'm going for 3-1 to us. A brace for Forster, and one for Cox. I also predict that either El-Abd or Livermore will get sent off late on...
Am I the only one not to have recieved a copy of the ANNUAL mid-season DVD update? I haven't seen it mentioned on here, but then again I'm not on here that much these days.
I want to relive the GLORIOUS 4-1 win over Milwall, among other GEMS including the Hawkins own goal!! :clap2:
My boos came and picked me up from Brighton to get me to Worthing for work!! There was no way I was going to make it otherwise.
That said, I'm very concerned about getting back tonight
But it's not always like that at all! Especially in freeroll tournaments, because people wanna win money! I was surprised at the standard when I first played on PKR. But there are some very good players on there who play both real and play money. Myself included ;)
By 'tight' i mean that people will play pretty much like they would at a real money table. I only do 'play money' on PKR anyway because imo that's where some of the best poker players are. I've played enough real poker to know that its not 100% like a cash game. But all the same it allows me to...
Of course it's poker! What is it then? Blackjack? I can understand what you mean, of course. But when my bankroll is low it's good practice. You'd be surprised how tight the tables are!
I do play 'real' poker as well. But it's good to practice all the same, that's why my game is pretty good!
Funnily enough, I was going to suggest something like this on the other poker thread I started earlier.
I'm WELL up for this. However I'd prefer to play 'live' if at all possible. It's much more fun in person, and especially for a charity event. Plus I reckon it would be easier to sort than an...

One thing I've never seen discussed on NSC, is the SUPERB card game of Poker. I've known how to play for about four years or so, but only recently have I started to FULLY appreciate the game.
I was wondering if I share this passion with any other NSC'ers? If so, where do you play? Online or...
