You could look at this another way...we need capable (i.e. quality) cover in every position in case of injuries (tight hamstrings!) and suspensions which with the number and intensity of games coming up is inevitable.
I think you will find that was Gary Player quoting Samuel Goldwyn! .....
Teams that play to the final whistle are more likely to score than those that don't ...that's not luck.
Even if the view not so good, it won't matter too much as it's the being there that counts. I was there in 1983 standing on the Kop (only place available on the day as we didn't have tickets) with Mrs Amexican. Never forget it.....and certainly wouldn't bet against turning them over again!
I believe he has the talent, just taking too long to get around to showing it (apart from the P'boro free kick)...his playing style/body language don't exactly help...but he should be given time to get it right. Now would not be too soon while we have our injury/suspension crisis....if not sell...
What that picture clearly shows is the Burnley player coming from behind, off the ground, studs showing...verdict RED card.
Do we stand a chance with an appeal?...sadly absolutely NOT..as a one off incident maybe, but with our record this season, a recent fine and constant whingeing I am afraid...
Pretty normal for the Dutch to have those for breakfast.
Now if you enjoy a nice dessert sandwich ...mature cheddar cheese and golden syrup...perfect on return from an evening game at the Amex!
I left at the final whistle from WSU (dry) and was back in Littlehampton (soaked) at 11.15...that's the difference...BUT I will never leave a game early. Next time it's raining, we'll stay for a drink until Q's disappear and get home only 5 mins later!
"We're the left side we're the left side we're the left side Mithras queue, We're the right side we're the right side we're the right side Mill Road queue"
This will help the bloke on the central stairs and the steward who didn't seem to know his right from left at the Leeds game!
I couldn't make the game but as I understand it Barnes headed down the ball for CMS's miss...if that had gone in then different result and we'd all be happy with them both...you won't get many chances against a top side...give the guys a break!
Goldstone in 70's & 80's was where my love of football/Albion was born and bred...pay on the gate, terraces, North Stand banter etc ...couldn't beat it and part of our heritage...the enforced exile to Gillingham & Withdean is where we earned the right for what we have now. The Amex is brilliant...
I wouldn't worry...at those prices there will be tickets for everyone who wants to go. And the 10 loyalty points you earn will be needed for the next high demand away game ...Saints?
