We look reasonable going forward but fragile at the back, though Denmark are balancing this out by looking fairly lightweight in comparison, if they could get on the end of their free-kicks and corners more often we might be in serious trouble by now. Wilshire has had a promising start, good...
Will watch it, want to see how Wilshere fares in an England shirt, early days maybe but players like him and Walcott are the future of the national side.
We thought about changing the name to Brighton and Hove actually, but in Falmer and nearer Lewes, Albion...but the bloke who reads the scores out on the telly complained, as did our fan who starts the song "give us a B"...who was fearful for his life!
I am no cat-psychologist but this does sound like odd behaviour...could it have something to do with a pecking order between them and one dominating the other.
My olds used to have two cats, one was very small and the other definitely on the large side, it was the smaller cat who was older and...
Great call on Simon Wiesenthal Tyrone, kind of balaces out Kurt Waldheim...who everyone thought was a great politician until they found out about his Nazi past!
I will offer up:
Egon Schiele
Christian Andreas Doppler
Franz Kafka
Oskar Schindler
I wrote "BHAFC - Super Seagulls on Tour" on the wall of a bar in Fethiye, Turkey in 1987...though most of the bar had random graffiti on it and it just added to the effect, pretty sure it was the only thing not in Turkish though.
Agree with this totally, tax should be levied based on the impact the product (food, drink, fags, etc) have on your health and the burden that over-consumption places on the NHS...thus it is cheap for someone to maintain a healthy lifestyle, you want to overdo it or screw your body up, you pay...
Have never really understood rugby, all that cuddling and rolling around on the floor strikes me as a bit bizarre, but that was fairly exciting wasn't it. I am surrounded by rugby daft people who are constantly moaning about Gloucester being crap, at least that might put a smile on their faces...
I agree that BMI is flawed, it doesn't take into account a sportsman who is muscular (which apparently weighs more than flab) and extremely well built for their height...however, I would suggest that someone who falls into the morbidly obese category is highly unlikely to be a muscular...
This...definitely...it was the way that he was trying to pull his shorts up whilst waving at the crowd, maybe hoping that we hadn't noticed what he had done...I have told this story to fans of other teams, none of them believe me, in future I will just send them a link to this thread.
There are some parts of the World where that sort of behaviour is deemed totally acceptable...though I won't name them for fear of upsetting anyone who comes from Texas or Norfolk!
