Re Benitez - his achievments at Liverpool don't look too shabby in light of the disaster that was Roy Hodgson's tenure.

So Benitez spent obscene amounts of money over 3 years, taking the club backwards, Hodgson is given what, £15m to clear up the HUGE mess, and surprise surprise he can't. Don't get me wrong, Roy didn't do well. But Benitez post 2005 was a disaster As for CaPello (one P - is that better for you?!) his past success means f*** all when you're getting horse-whipped 4-1 by Germany and failing to beat Algeria.
Eh? So he's not a great manager because of TWO games? Ok then.

"Benitez left Roy with a shit team" blah blah f***ing blah. It's bollock. Benitez great manager, Capello great manager. Both far far far better than Roy and both better options then him for an England job,

Well at least we agree on Capello.

Way out west
We look reasonable going forward but fragile at the back, though Denmark are balancing this out by looking fairly lightweight in comparison, if they could get on the end of their free-kicks and corners more often we might be in serious trouble by now. Wilshire has had a promising start, good movement and not afraid to tackle, superb cross field pass by Rooney to Walcott by the corner flag.

Hopefully the second half won't be ruined by substitutions as I enjoyed the first.

Benitez post 2005 was a disaster Yeah, that Champions League Final in 2007 and 2nd place in the Prem in 2009 were really disastrous...

Eh? So he's not a great manager because of TWO games? Ok then.
The USA game was shit too, losing at home to France last November was shit, drawing at home to Montenegro last October was shit, not having beaten any of the top teams since Germany in Nov 2008 is shit.

Yeah, what a good manager he is...
