Tevez or Villa definitely, not sure about Rooney at the moment, but what are they worth if Carroll is worth £35m...yeah, I know, what people are willing to pay...but that would put Tevez at something like £50m+...which is quite frankly ridiculous!
If Carroll scores a few goals that help keep Liverpool in the Premiership then it might look like a good piece of business...but it is a hell of a lot of money for someone who still isn't a top quality player, though he could well become one!
Have to say that I don't know a great deal about their manager, or his dealings, but he isn't much liked amongst fans of Conference teams...which must be for good reason as most that I have met are pretty chilled out when it comes to their footy and those involved in it.
Pedestrian hoofers...does that translate as a side who stroll around the park and make the ball do the work?
I think I could live with that, if it is the best insult they can manage.
Crawley fans are still bitter about that game, not the result but the fact that they claim we cheated them out of gate receipts...knowing what we know now it has to be considered that that was likely, but the bastards who screwed them over subsequently left us homeless...so, maybe they can draw...
