This is sound advice, I stuck a few quid in shares the best part of fifteen years ago when everyone seemed to be doing it and despite making fairly reasoned judgement on what I bought largely got my fingers burnt...check out the record of Screen, Jarvis and Provalis if you want to see what can...
Have to agree with this, they gave a very average Man Utd side a good run for its money. On that showing Crawley should do OK next season if they make it into the league, there are quite a few Man Utd also rans who probably won't make the grade...wouldn't surprise me if a couple of them pitched...
Can't be arsed to dig up loads of videos from YouTube, but look out for Toronto...very impressive...also River Plate, went to a game there last year when they played Huracan, was the best singing I have ever heard at a game.
...I almost fell of my chair when I got to that bit...people have said he is starting to look a bit like a tramp, maybe his mind is going too and he can't take care of himself, hence forgetting that he shouldn't admit any association with the Albion.
Just spoken with one of my neighbours who hails from Crawley, he and some mates are going up for the game tomorrow, reckons they have sold 12,000 tickets...not bad on an average home gate of around 1,500!
Arsenal, chasing shadows at times in the first half...but boy, did they step out of them when it mattered...to coin a much over-used phrase, that was a great game for a neutral...marginally better for a gooner!
Really looking forward to this one, two sides who can play great attacking football when they set their minds to it. I would love to see Arsenal win as I prefer them to any of the other English sides in the competition...hopefully Barcelona will attack and not just try to grind out a 0-0, if...
Can't say I knew Nige, other than to chat with him about the good and bad of the Albion, usually in a pub at an away game or in Slappers in Worthing after a home game.
Thoughts are with you for a speedy recovery.
This...we have had a summer street party in our road for the last couple of years, reckon this one will end up in a get together with B-B-Q and much merry making!
I agree with the sentiment about singing GOSBTS slower, it is like a race to be finished first and completely ruins the song...contrast that with the Spurs song that is sung really slowly, that creates an amazing atmosphere and gets the hairs on the back of the neck to rise, and there is no way...
