Agree about The Cedar Room- thought i heard the intro to it at one point and got well excited, but it was a different song.
I was really hoping they'd play House Of Mirrors off the new album but that didn't happen either. But i aint complaining.\
Re. the support band. I watched 20mins and...
Yep top gig. I got a bit overexcited during 'Pounding' and knocked over my pint of Dark Star :dunce:
Definitely a few Seagulls chants in there, i tried at one point but it was kinda difficult up on the far fringe of the circle seats
If Slade keeps us up then he would have done a tremendous job, and would certainly 'deserve' a new contract from that point of view.
HOWEVER, i really don't think he's the future of BHAFC. Someone on here has said that he has a 'proven record at this level' or words to that effect? Has he...
I was quite happy with Southern until they changed the timetable and service in December.
Since then its all gone completely gash. The vast majority of trains i get to London are delayed in some way. Not as much on the way home, but its still a very poor service at the moment.
Read the whole thread before posting next time. Hardly anyone has actually advocated boycotting Saturday's game. One person asked if we should boycott it, and so far i think maybe one person is actually not going- and even then they suggested that they don't have a problem with those that do go...
Not sure if this is directed at me specifically? Anyway:
I have got a grip, i do want to support the Albion, i will be there on Saturday whilst on my high horse, and i swore i would never go to the goldstone site and i have stuck to it.
end 'off'.
Just to clarify what i was saying about Arsenal- when standing for a cause which you were not directly affected by, i think you have to have some appreciation of or association with people who were. I certainly do not agree with the 'relocation' of clubs, whether it was Wimbledon a few years ago...
I totally agree that we can learn alot from history, but 'how long ago stuff happened' ISN'T irrelevant. The example that you gave of Arsenal happened 65 years before i was even born. I don't know anyone who was there, or who was affected by it. As far as i can tell it has little relevance to...
I suppose you did, fair enough. Glad you're not saying i'm a bit of a thickie, thanks for that.
What i'm saying is that you might have been as outraged as me at the time, but it seems now a few years have passed you can't be bothered to oppose the move anymore, and just shrug your shoulders*...
Complete rubbish. Do you know or have contact with anyone who was there when Arsenal were moved to North London? Do any of us have any connection or experience of this at all? No.
The Wimbledon/Franchise FC issue is a contemporary issue which affects us all. Admit it, you just can't be arsed to...
I wouldnt worry about that. If you feel strongly enough about it to boycott then you should go for it. If there's one thing i hate its apathy.
Things like that have to start somewhere. Even if you're the only person in the world protesting against something then you're still sticking to your...
Seriously?! Interesting. Which Black Horse?
Does the Fiddlers show Ireland matches that clash with english matches?
Yeah keep me posted if you find somewhere
