Embarrassing things on my ipod:

ABC - Look of love
Chris Rea - Giverny
Icehouse - hey little girl
Men at Work - man with two hearts
Proclaimers - letter form America

Probably there are others that other people might find embarrasing....

When I was 17 I bought (well, not strictly true, I was too embarrased, so got one of my friends to buy for me) a Ronan Keating album, and I've never lived it down. I even listened to it quite a bit at the time :shootself

I also own a Destinys Child record, which I genuinely quite like.

I'll raise you one "Under One Roof" by the Rubettes. Way ahead of their time, singing a gay song in 1976.

Unfortunately the original has been removed from Youtube but there is this remake from the 90s. Rock on. . .

And at five thirty dead his daddy waited at the factory
For him to come and how it did degrade him.
He cut him and he slayed him
And spat on him in front of ev'ryone
As Billy lay dying his Papa started crying
Because the parent through him he became
And all because the person who has the first to give him love
Had been a man.

Crikey.

I'm not sure how guilty to feel, really - as these tunes are pretty bloody good.
They're just not what a friendless sad old decrepit man with no teeth raised on rawk is supposed to like

In my teens, I loved ABBA but would never have admitted as much to anyone. In 1982, I went to see Hot Chocolate at the Ipswich Gaumont.
