It wasnt really the effort that was lacking though, emphasised by his two long-range efforts that were never EVER going to get near the goal. Too eager to impress and please. I think the main problem is simply that he's a bit shite these days.

Got the 6:44 from Preston Park this morning. It seemed pretty empty and got into Victoria more or less on time. Victoria was almost eerily quiet too. Not looking forward to the journey home though...

Most of the score is pretty good, but the version of 'yesterday' when he's at the bus station (?) makes me cringe. I still wonder about the end sequence. Yer man topping himself just seems to easy/straightforward to me? (should this thread have a 'spoiler' alert?!)
