    England crisis, what crisis??

Portugal drew 4-4 with Cyprus. In the qualifiers France lost at home to Belarus, but then won in Bosnia.

    Glastonbury - BBC

Holy shit- seriously????? When? They're one of my favourite bands. I was supposed to see them at The Albert in May but missed it. If they're playing down here then i'll be first in the queue

****USA V Ghana and Uruguay V South Korea official thread ****

I know a few non-Ghana sub-saharan africans and they're all cheering them on. Dunnno if they're die-hard footy fans (i suspect not) but that might be irrelevant. But i know what you mean. Not sure how much affinity the 'arabic' africans would have with Ghanaians.

****USA V Ghana and Uruguay V South Korea official thread ****

Stepping away from the celebrations for a sec, i've got a query about suspensions. I thought outstanding yellow cards got wiped at the end of the 1st round, but it seems a couple of Ghanaians are going to be suspended for the QF? To be honest it makes a certain amount of sense if the 1srt...

That James Cordon World Cup Shit on ITV

 Thanks, that clip has brought back great memories and made my morning! Particularly the THEME MUSIC

**** CF Cadiz v Real Murcia **** Offical match thread

I've got some close friends from Murcia, so have been 'following' them a bit these past few years. Havent made it to the new Condomina yet though. Relegation is going to be a complete disaster. And another example of a club building a new ground at the expense of their performances on the...

World Cup of Shirts - Group E

All the kits we've seen so far are just dull. I'm usually all for a 'classic' look, but now find myself hoping for something a bit leftfield. Otherwise i'll just have to console myself with the Ghana and Ivory Coast away kits.

    blackpool look decent....great game...

We were just having an office debate about the smallest ever Premiership* ground. At roughly 12,500 (i think), Bloomfield Rd would win hands down wouldn't it? Only other possible ground i can think of would have been Swindon, but as far as i can tell that was approx 15,000 back in 93/94...

    New Kit

Well i really like it. You've got to mix things up every now and again. I'd usually prefer 'even' stripes for the Albion but i think they've done well with this design. The only thing i don't like is the back of the shirt, but that was always going to happen.

Excellent work Mayfair. I'm loving all those designs. Gotta be ROUND.

    MK Dons Away

I won't be heading back in a hurry. Stadium was decent inside but everything else about the day was fockin awful. If you want some pre-match drinks then make sure you've got some tinnies with you. The pub we ended up at, The Enigma (which i think was the the 'nearest' to the ground, but am...

    Wayne Rooney

I think this is highly debatable. No doubt Rooney has had stacks of success since, but the others? Lampard/Terry - before WC '06 they'd won back to back league titles and reached a couple of Champions Lge semis. Since then: no league titles (until this year?), one Cham Lge final loss and a...

Any player we have signed and you thought 'Yeah' but turned out to be shite !!

In my time of watching the Albion i'd have to go with Jason Peake although Paul Kitson has to be up there

    Brewery Tap closed

Well, a few people on here seem to have been very fond of it, so i didnt want to kick them while they're down. But yeah, i wouldnt disagree with you

    Brewery Tap closed

The Station is by far the best pre-match pub imho, although it does get pretty busy. Wasn't a fan of the Brewery Tap but its sad to see a local pub go under.

Richmond Fontaine @ The Hanbury tonight

Maybe middle-of-the-road is the wrong term. I suppose what i'm getting at is that musically the new album wasn't as edgy(?) as i'd normally go for. I'm imagining that tonight's crowd will be mostly over-30. Thanks or the tip re. parking. I'm wondering if bussing it over there is a better idea..
