Barnsley
Peter Schmeichel, was amazing, but when he had bad days he was terrible.

Danny from McFly, he BOSSED the midfield in that Soccer Aid game.

Michael Owen, because he is a medical marvel, the only player who can get injured simply by running in a straight line.

Paulo Wanchope, he was amazing for about 2 weeks, whatever happened to him?

Eric Cantona, I would love to know what goes on in his head.

and a special mention to:

Vinnie Jones, I would also love to know what goes on in his head.

Cantona
Le Tiss
Gazza
Lineker
BobbyZee

The first 3 had presence and personality, Lineker is just Boy's Own stuff and 48 goals for England is only bettered by the Great Sir Bobby Charlton. If we had the Lineker of 1986 in the England team now I think we'd win the World Cup.

And I still hope that one day I'll see Bobby run out in the stripes at Falmer...

I like silky skilled, deft of touch, daintily poised footballers

These are all the kinds fo players I want to see play, but never will because of modern football.

Albion favourites:

FDM
John Byrne
Peter Ward
Gary Hart
Bobby Zamora

(All of the above are in my mind legends, they would all talk about the Albion with pride and to quote that famous old phrase "if you cut them they would bleed blue and white stripes"...unlike that twat Lawrenson who avoids mention of the club that plucked him from obscurity and pointed him in the right direction!)

Also rans (who I have seen play):

Romario
Thierry Henry
Chris Waddle
Kenny Dalglish
Henrik Larsson

Peter Ward - Electric. My reason for loving football, and the Albion
Zinedine Zidane - The best player I ever saw play
Paul Gascoigne - The best English player I ever saw play
Les Ferdinand - Great player should have played more for England. Nice bloke.
Paul Clark - True buzz went round when he picked up the scent of a frightened opponent.

And I bet The Tank has never appeared in such exalted company before

Dean Saunders gets overlooked - he was f***ing ELECTRIC during the brief time he played for us. That will always be the worst bit of transfer business the Albion ever did...

1)....George Best......no-player i have seen play comes near
2).....Peter Ward......only Albion player who was on the ball could electrify the crowd....in a Bestie way!
3) ....Kevin Keegan...........afraid to admit it but he was also electrifying to watch
4) ....Ryan Giggs.........just keeps going on and on.....at the highest level
5).....David Beckham.........whatever you think of him he scored some wonderful goals and even though people said he could not beat a full-back he did not have too......created countless number of goals for club and country.

Now i know there are probably better players (except Best) than my choice but these are players who captivated me while watching them live. I would agree with most other peoples choices for watching on the old telebox:bowdown:
