Course it does. And anyway, I've got an old edition of Stovold's.

Unfortunate telly positioning of the week

Going to report from Arsenal's ground? Careful where you stand in relation to those big concrete letters....

    Your debut album

"Chester Crown Court" is a bloody ace band name. Anyway, this is a modern jazz classic.

71,233 at Wembley - FAO Crodonilson

I live really near Wembley. If it had been twenty quid, without all this ridiculous pre-registration nonsense, I would have gone, and thousands of others would have followed, I reckon. The Scottish Rugby Union -- whose mailing list I was on for a bit because I went to watch them play a few...

McFauls blasts Wilkins' "terrible man-management skills"

If you're accusing AN of making up quotes, then go ahead and do it. I can't see how a reporter who did that could keep such good contacts or his job for so long.

McFauls blasts Wilkins' "terrible man-management skills"

How does he get his information? By the utterly deceitful tactic of RINGING PEOPLE UP and INTERVIEWING them? The man's a DISGRACE to his trade.

McFauls blasts Wilkins' "terrible man-management skills"

What is this if not real journalism? Manager leaves job in unusual circumstances, reporter attempts to shed more light on those circumstances by speaking to those who had dealings with the manager at the time? Sounds pretty standard to me. Naylor is justifiably criticised on here quite a bit...

McFauls blasts Wilkins' "terrible man-management skills"

He gets offered the CHANCE to SHACK UP with an EASTERN EUROPEAN LOVELY and he's STILL COMPLAINING? They don't know they're born, these players. Cah.

Should one attend the SATC in search of brownie points

I think you should GO. This is an unfashionable point of view for a bloke, but I quite ENJOYED Sex and the City on the telly. It was amusing, well-written and well-shot, and, if you ignore Sarah Jessica Horseface, had some quite tasty birds in it.

    holiday web sites

Many people who comment on things like TripAdvisor generally do so because they are utterly intolerant. Also -- I got a brill deal on a Greek island last year by booking direct using a tour operator's website.

The BEST and the WORST adverts on the telly.

I want to marry a f***ing lighthouse keeper. f*** OFF.

Are you entitled to tax credits?

Agreed. I have seen some jobs advertised with: "With tax credits you could take home X every month". DISGRACE. (I'm not, by the way: I live on my own)

    Crewe by-election official thread

Wrong, I'm afraid. John Randall won Uxbridge for the Tories in 1997. But it was ROCK SOLID Conservative. Anyway -- tonight's turnout in Crewe was 58.2pc. That's MASSIVE for a by-election -- the second highest for a by-election since 1997, in fact.

    Crewe by-election official thread

Hazel Blears has said on the telly that Labour are going to lose. Some Tory websites are talking about a majority for them of 5,000. Given that Labour previously had a majority of 7,800, this would be a MASSIVE result for them.
