Well it seems according to all the sources available that the deal is not completely dead. Also as the website has nothing on it I'm pressuming that Deano is working his ass off to maybe complete not one but two midfield generals and maybe a loanie by tomorrow.I will suprised if we don't get anyone considering the fact that Falmer is nearly here and also the fact that investment from the Blooms, because of this, is imminent.

The Falmer factor has nothing to do with players signing all it has done is release a few quid because we know it won't be spent on solicitors.

Ipswich midfielder turns down Albion
By Andy Naylor
GEORGE O'Callaghan this morning rejected a move to Albion, according to sources in Ipswich.

The 27-year-old Republic of Ireland midfielder could not agree personal terms after the clubs agreed a fee of around £60,000, rising to £75,000 depending on appearances.

The Seagulls could now switch attention to Leicester's transfer-listed Scottish midfielder Stephen Hughes ahead of the transfer window closing for permanent signings and long-term loans at midnight tomorrow.

Just out of interest do you think the Argus is getting their "sources in Ipswich" from NSC. Seems to be strange how this thread was run before the website was updated. The paper is becoming a bit of a joke, it keeps running stories before they are fact. I can see why Wilkins doesn't mention anything until the deal is done.

You're the only tosser here, f***ing moan moan moan. Sometimes it's funny but when you bang on about stuff that is blatantly not true it's f***ing anoying. Wilkins has managed to get players in on loan and signed some decent players.

How do you think a manager gets experienced? Usually by a club giving him a chance so why don't you just wait and see what Wilkins can do rather than boring us all with your constant moaning about this used to be better and that manager knew more you cockend.

I'm not trying to be funny - i'm voicing my opinion on the matter...doesn't mean it's true, but just because i have one that you don't agree with it shouldn't make me a "spastic".

I'm not saying managers shouldn't be given a chance, but when you've watched a year of absolute turd, and paid good money to do so, then it does make you wonder what could have been.

I THINK we'd have been better off with an experieced football manager. You don't. End of.

I do hope you are right. If nothing else, just to shut half the twats on this board up.

Yes.

They've done it before and they'll do it again.

The Ipswich site clearly states its not a dead deal.

To be fair to naylor, one of our managers who is a Ipswich fan had a call from his son this morning as the local radio had reported the problems had been ironed out and he was signing now.

that was my HP/Tomato. he was accurate before about Bowditch!

f***ing hell, we've had all summer to sort this out and it hasn't happened. Why do people get their hopes up that we can pull it off in 1 day? :jester:

If this deal comes off, quite a few on here are going to end up with egg on their faces for going off on one at the club before anything OFFICIAL has been announced

Sorry? So are you saying here you think the deal is back on or dead?

I know Naylor is only doing his job which is to sell papers, but its annoying at times. At least it keeps the moaners busy tthough :lolol:

I never said you were trying to be funny, I said sometimes your moaning is funny and when I said 'spatic fucks' it was directed at all the moany, negative bitches on here who constantly find fault in aspects of the club and make obsolete comparisions.

I never said we don't need an experienced manager but where will this experienced manager come from? Also you are saying we need an experienced manager because of the players they can get in but Wilkins has done alright getting players in. You use the example of Coppell which is an exceptional case as it's very rare a club like ours lucks into a manager like that.
