Everyone is very quick to have a pop at the club and Wilkins on this one, however a few points worth remembering.

Have the club made any kind of statement saying we are signing him...NO , in fact Wilkins tried to distance himself from it saying he rather not comment until a player has signed.

Also if wages does become the problem that stops us signing him, how do u know what he is asking for ?

To much speculation from ppl who don't actually know what is going on, just wait and see what happens

Its like betting at the track ... You dont put bet on with half an hour to go before race , you wait until the last five minutes to see the best price /dealn

That is the biggest load of bollocks i've ever heard. You open a bet 365 account and take guaranteed best odds.

I will give you odds of 4/7 that Wilkins will not see the season out.

WE AGREED A FEE WITH IPSWICH - HE HAD A MEDICAL - HE CAME DOWN TO AGREE PERSONAL TERMS AND YET AGAIN RICK f***ed IT UP!!!!!!!

Apologies for shouting, but you do seem to be missing some facts in your commendable defence of the club.

In the shadow of Seaford Head
Seagulls put deal on hold
Thursday Aug 30 2007 11:06
Brighton & Hove Albion have put a move for George O'Callaghan on hold after failing to agree personal terms with the Ipswich Town midfielder.

The Seagulls were given permission to talk to the 27-year-old by the Championship club on Wednesday, but the Irish midfielder has failed to agree terms on a permanent transfer to the Withdean.

O'Callaghan joined Ipswich from Cork City in January but has made only 12 first team appearances.

"We have accepted an offer from Brighton for George and he and his representative have had discussions with Brighton but no agreement has been reached so far," Town's chief executive Derek Bowden told the club's official website.

"It's possible both parties will talk again before the transfer window closes."

Hate to say it but last night I did say people were getting a little too excited. Better not to know anything until perosnal terms are agreed.
