I think the organisers were concerned about the four of you leaving in an ambulance. Your 20 mile ride shows what it takes to be a 4th place finisher, great run from you. Good day all round with all NSC runners in the top 50 and 2 in the top 10.

Good NSC turnout at Bedgebury today. Great race, 2 laps of the picturesque Pinetum forest tracks usually reserved for walkers and mountain bikers. Tough going despite the good paths to follow but think I paid the price of park running yesterday as legs felt heavy and lap 2 turned into a bit of a...

Some good running over the weekend. Nice to see some NSC regulars at Preston Park yesterday where we all seemed to have course pb’s in perfect conditions. I prefer Preston Park over Hove but as we discussed after I can’t say which is the quicker course. An SB 20:54. Happy with that as been...

I remember us talking about this last year but not doing it. One of the best local ( for me) park runs and I think the course is part of that route. I’m in and signed up. I’ll meet you and Knocky there.

Just finished my 2019 running with a muddy 6 miler. Total miles for the year 861 Total elevation 62,431 ft. Will likely try Eastbourne park run in the morning to kick off my Marathon training. Happy new year fellow runners. Hope you hit your goals in 2020

I was hoping to finish the year with a sub 21 at Hastings but could only manage 21:02. I might have another go on Wednesday. The top 3 at Hastings today were all juniors with second place in the 11-14 category with AG 85%. He was really small and has no right running that fast. The winner...

Your friend finished much stronger and I struggled to hold on. Your right it is next week but I couldn’t make it so Knocky got some practice in today. Good to see Simgull there too.

Wasn’t much of a contest after your week in sick bay but I’m happy to finish the year only a second slower than my previous time round hove park when I thought I was in better shape. I prefer my eggs a little harder so will aim on extending this to 4 minutes in the spring.

I have had to reluctantly accept I can’t run tomorrow. I haven’t been able to shake off my 2 week cold. So coffee and sofa and rugby will be my Saturday morning instead. Good luck to all those running I hope to be there next year.

Man flu wasn’t quite finished with me and haven’t run now for a week. I’m still full of snot and mucus but hoping to be at the start line for Beachy on Saturday. I’ll just walk if required and try to enjoy the day. Quite a few on here doing it and hope to see some of you there.

Is this was happens when you turn 60? :D East Brighton is one of those parkruns that turns out much tougher than it looks. 3 laps each a little shorter with the climbs at the start of each lap. The last half mile is a gentle climb and I would recommend trail shoes as it hasn’t stopped raining...

Congratulations, continuing nsc dominance in Puglia. Have we set some kind of NSC record by both winning at the same foreign park run? I remember those cakes.

Cows are generally very docile. They are also very curios which is why they may cross a field to check out a walker or something new going on around them. However they are very maternal and view most things as a potential threat to their young especially dogs. Entering a field with cows and...

Great running, must have been quite windy along the coast too so looking well set for sub 18 effort. I was hoping to run the hellingly 10k tomorrow but it’s full again and I didn’t pre book. I guess it’s a reflection of how popular running has become as I always used to be able to register on...

Ran 17.5 miles at Rye Harbour in the Twilight Chase yesterday. Heading west along the coast into the wind was some of the hardest miles I’ve ever run. The constant wind was sapping and the gusts stopped you in your tracks. Only around 10 runners completed 6 x 4.4mile laps to go marathon distance...

21:32 was good enough for 8th place at East Brighton park run yesterday. It’s a deceptively challenging course and I’m still not sure why. It isn’t particularly hilly, has a decent wide route to follow with very few turns but by my third lap I was hurting. It’s a good addition to the city’s...
