Barrow was a league game where tickets were sold for the Wolves LC game and the gate was over 20k
A few years later, before the Derby LC game, tickets went onsale v Charlton Reserves, with a gate of over 18k.
I actually think it's a fair and legitimate way of selling big match tickets as...
Thanks Lord B. I thought it was too good to be true and did check it ut at the station where I was told I could go as far as Southampton & £6.00 from there, but Eastleigh looks better.
Just slightly off topic, I have to go to Winchester on Saturday and the cheapest return rail fare I found was just under £27.00 HOWEVER, if I buy a Southern Saver ticket from a B&H bus it gives me my train fare PLUS my local B&H bus fare for just £14.00.
Looks a bargain, am I reading it right?
Doubtful anyone could check your O level results from that far back.

Basically the audience shout out what they...

In those early 70's times, the age of fans was around the mid teens and many young girls were obsessed with the stars and, although physically mature, the age of consent is there to protect the majority who are not mentally mature, even if...
I don't think the amount of buses/drivers needed for Withers would cut the ice at the Amex.
As for the poster who suggested it would go ahead with a 16k crowd, well surely not as it would be at least 24k tickets sold, on the current way of stating gates.
That sort of remeinds my of the Hastings school teacher (Jenkins?) who was alledged, and did time for murdering his step daughter. Was in & out so many times I lost track of if he was eventually found guilty or not.
