I hope the traditional sea of blue and white balloons will be there to greet the players as they walk out. Get yours now before they sell out in Sussex! Anyone know of any good sites on the internet for ordering this sort of thing or shops in town with good supplies?
Normally the Argus would...
Impressive amount of tickets sold considering it will be a round trip of over 400 miles for us. Bristol is only about 35 miles from Cardiff.
Is there likely to be any more tickets released to both clubs or is that it? 65,000 tickets between the two clubs leaves a few thousand short of capacity.
I think there are still quite a number of supporters who want to come but are waiting for friends to decide whether they are coming before buying tickets & arranging travel plans. I would guess there will be a bit of a last minute rush for tickets on Friday when people have sorted out there...
Anyone know what the need for "identification" is as mentioned on the form? Is this just required for the person actually buying the tickets or do you need id for each ticket purchased?
If they don't get posted tomorrow then there will be a good chance that some won't get delivered in time. A cheque I was posted first class took 4 days to get to me last week, and a small parcel took over a week!
Think their chairman has lost the plot down in Pompey land. He wants to sack most of the coaching staff and Harry Redknapp is rumoured to be quitting if he goes ahead.
Seems a strange decision just weeks after staying up in the priemership!
Announcement at 5pm on a Friday afternoon........ I can just imagine the scene in Whitehall now........
John Presscott sat in his office thinking 'oh shit, the Brighton fans/Falmer Nimbys are not going to like this decision'. So he waits till the last minute before he goes home for the weekend...
Can't see it being much longer now before we get an answer. It must be over 5 months since JP got the first reports on his desk and a month since the final submissions he asked for. A decision has got to be due very soon.
Not a bad little ground really. Have not been there since the new terrace was built (with roof!). Good atmosphere when a decent crowd is present and only a stones through from the railway station...
Not sure if it has been mentioned on here already today, but this is one lucky guy.

Keep taking the aspirins !!!
Goldstone - that is what every sane person would realise would be a fantastic idea for the city of Brighton and Hove. However our city is full of NIMBY's, Greens, Hippies, and councillors with no vision or guts to do these sort of projects.
The biggest mistake that was made when building the...
National Snow dome looked good on paper.

Note that the plans were shelved after concerns about traffic. Not much hope for a 22,000 capacity stadium then!
Land fill or waste incinerator for that site I think.
To make the place safe for any sort of use other than industrial would be a nighmare. Steep sided chalk cliffs, road access, rail access, etc would cost mega money and years to sort out.
Never realised how big that place was though until...
A few other points about last night....
1 What is the point in playing David james for the full 90 minutes when there were 3 other keepers in the squad? What did Sven learn form this?
2 Why bring on Emile (I just fall over alot) Heskey at the end when upto then our strikers looked...
Why hasn't Collier's report been made public? After all it is a report on a PUBLIC INQUIRY!
Do the findings of the report only get disclosed after a final decision has been made or are they hidden from public knowledge forever?
I think that this is the reason why the decision has taken so long. I reckon Prescott is ready to say yes, but is waiting on the legal outcome of making such a decision against local planning inspectors recommendations. Maybe we will have positive news on Falmer by the end of the week IF the...
Can't see the point in getting Big Trev back now we have signed this Chris Iwelumo. Or maybe Mcghee is planning on playing two big strikers and Leon up front for the run in? Can't see many defences looking forward to that possibility!
Batty has been told by Eddie Gray that he is no longer part of his plans at the club, and no new contract will be offered at the end of the season. He has definitley played his last game for Leeds. Batty will be available on a Bosman now so it is likely that he will either be joining another...
