just had a text from mate it goes falmer has been rejected,the enouncement will come after the playoffs,and prescot will recomend withdean as permanant home.has anybody else hears this

It's a wind up. Apart from anything else, Prescott hasn't been asked to make any recommendation (other than Falmer) about a permanent home for the Albion.

Withdean would need a full planning application, and (probably) a new Public Inquiry before it became a permanent home.

Sounds iffy. JP's remit is purely the Falmer planning application so he wouldn't suggest any alternatives. Mind you, I do fear the worse as in over 80% of cases the final decision upholds the local inspectors recommendation and to go against it JP must find enough reasons on purely planning grounds (and none of the other more emmotive surrounding issues) to go against it. My knees are worn out from praying.
