What could be the possible justification for rebuilding the line to the cement works even if a stadium was built there? 25 days a year for footy games plus a few other events. Absolute nonsense. A bus shuttle from Shoreham or Lancing or somewhere would have to be introduced.
A Waterhall station COULD be justified if the stadium was built there. A great "Parkway station" location for commuters to park their cars and catch the train to London. And in the other direction a very good park-and-ride location for shoppers going to Brighton.
