NSC is costing me money this week. New Garmin 245 a few days ago and now I’ve succumbed to joining the Nike revolution.
Tempo’s Next % arrive Tuesday so I’ll look forward to running a 35 minute 10k when they arrive. You only need to put one foot in front of the other right? And the shoes magic...
They weren’t great in the group stage but beat Argentina 4-3 in the 2nd round and from there tended to be the most impressive team.
I wouldn’t say they were shit until the final.
I’ve always found rolling my foot on a golf ball is very helpful.
The type of job I do, which is to sit on my arse all day, means I have plenty of opportunity to use it during the day.
The other important thing is to strengthen your calf muscles.
According to time and date.com June 21st 2015 was 20 degrees vs December 21st 2015 was 12 degrees.
If it hasn’t happened before, perhaps a great chance this year of history happening!
Being a saddo, I thought to myself today - I wonder if the shortest day of the year has ever been warmer than the longest?
With today being 13 it’s not beyond the realms the 21st December could be warmer.
Is there anyway of checking previous years to see if this has happened before?
Should I...
Could have been a Barkley Magic Mile of 4:30. Garmin asked if I wanted to accept 4:30 as a mile PB after the session but reluctantly turned it down.
Sounds like a good track session for you yesterday, I’ll be back again tomorrow for a more standard 12 laps in intervals TBD. 5 minute recoveries...
Tried something very different for me Saturday on the track at Withdean.
The session was 5x 300 metres with 5 minutes rest.
Sounds easy, but running at all out effort definitely took it out of me.
The recovery helps maintain speed and quality and I’d argue I’d have got similar or the same...
Enjoyed the race last night. Nowhere near as busy as I thought it might be with about 30 runners across two races > and < 7 minutes being the rough divider.
5:30 for me, which is 10 seconds slower than my best, but PP isn’t flat so a reasonable effort.
As mentioned it was good enough for...
It would be a hell of an improvement if they got anywhere close to doubling their 21 points from the 2019/20 season. Throw in also a minus 49 goal difference.
That’s a worse return than Sheffield United this season.
They may well have improved, but I can’t see them getting much more than 30...
By progress are you saying we will need more than 41 points?
I’ve seen nothing from any of the promoted clubs or potentially promoted clubs to suggest they’re better than the current bottom three.
30 points could conceivably keep us up. 35 points we’d be almost certain, 40 or above and it’s...
I don’t disagree too much, but you cannot rate Veltman & Maupay equally.
Veltman behind Bissouma has been our best player this season.
Maupay unfortunately has missed penalties, chances and then lost the plot at Wolves.
His best moments were out wide putting in a few decent crosses, but...
The Palace win with 10 men and Sheffield Wednesday also with 10 men with the Stockdale save my personal highlights at the Amex.
Doncaster was great, but not that great a game, a special ending though.
