Seaford is all road, completely flat and has plenty of parking. That would be your best bet. Peacehaven is part road, part off-road. East Brighton is all grass.
I recently bought a pair for the first time and I think they are a great all round shoe. I know many who run long runs of 15 miles+ in them. I’ve tended to use them for track sessions and races and enjoying them.
First non Hoka pair I’ve bought for at least five years.
Good running. I didn’t set an alarm and didn’t wake up until 8am so decided to swerve and head to the track for 4 X 1 mile. Pretty hot out there, but got it done and averaged around 5:54 per mile, so pretty happy with that, especially as each one got slightly quicker.
I’ll be racing the Magic...
How do you know Ben White? Personally or professionally? Are you his dad, auntie or cousin? Pet Labrador, his gardener or piano tuner?
If he does leave, make sure you wish him all the best from us.
Very strange to have Rob Jones within that list. Could easily have been England’s first choice right back for years, if not for injuries. Brilliant player whilst his career lasted.
1998 was our best squad in my lifetime of watching major tournaments. 1986 - present.

I like the Brunswick - plenty of good beers on draught. I’m fine with that being our pub for the night.
I’ll be at the finish line cheering you on and shouting abuse knocky1 - looking forward to it now (the drinks rather than the race).
10k race for me today at Goodwood. It will never be my favourite distance, but fairly happy with 38:32 and a good target to beat in 10 days for the Phoenix 10k.
Anyone else running that one? It used to be a staple of the NSC running calendar, with a pub visit tucked in for good good measure.
For me probably a combination of getting older, the disappointment of the so called ‘golden generation’ and the fact the players now earn far x3 or more the average annual wage in a week.
I think the days of the players and fans relating to each other, has passed unfortunately.
Which squad...
It doesn’t read well, but perhaps it’s getting away from an environment where everything is done for you. Playing at Doncaster in league 1 is a world away from under 23 football and state of the art training facilities.
The new environment could be a great experience which grounds him and...
He didn’t have much choice though, he was on the stretch. Just very unfortunate the player got injured. You see so many clearances like that in a typical game, just without the injury.
It’s a harsh red for me. He has to go for the ball and it’s the natural follow through which catches him.
‘Don’t let the ball bounce’ is the old adage, that’s good defending for me.
It’s the slow motion and the visual of the opponents leg which makes it look worse.
There are dozens of...
