I was thinking that another club might take over his contract for the last six months, and then maybe leave the door open for a further year extension. I can't see them getting another year at the Albion. I'm sure the experience they have between them would be a useful asset to some other clubs.
He's gone. He'll have his nice new signing on fee from his new club, his agent will be booking another holiday to the Maldives, and fans of another team will wait be be won over by his falling over, unco-ordinated, lanky dribbles down the right wing. The same thing will then happen again next...
I think they'll end up playing for Lewes, Crawley or Eastbourne B next season. If they can't get back into the squad now, they never will.
There only real chance of another season of league football for them would be for them to be released from their contracts in January so they can look for...
Looks like its all going wrong at Southampton.

How a once mighty club has fallen. Its a bit worrying that it seems to all be linked with moving to the new stadium!
There were quite a few duplicate tickets last night in the H block. Don't know what went wrong with the ticketing but the stewards were not aware, not did they seem to care when they became aware!
Quite a few dupicate tickets in H block last night. Didn't help by the fact that you can't see the seat numbers any more, and the row letters are not to clear either. Stewards did not seem interested until a group of blocks got into a bit of fight over who's seats were who's. I think at least...
If you stretch to it, go for the Humax 9200 as suggested above. It is a very good and well built PVR and has great support by Humax. A new software update in Jan 2008 will bring series link and make the Humax even better. You can go for cheap ASDA and TESCO ownbrands but they not in same...
I worked on the lock gate project at Portishead marina right next to Avonmouth. It was really amazing how far and quickly the water levels would drop. The amount of green electricity that could be generated from such a tidal range is huge.
I think if it goes to court the magistrate can order that compensation is paid to you. You have to fill out some forms stating yor losses as a result of the accident and they make a judgement on what you should be awarded. Its done through some sort of criminal compensation scheme. Worth a try.
If only Withdean had a terrace (albeit small) with a roof like Dorchester Town. The atmosphere would be 100 times better. How I miss the Goldstone North Stand.
£500 million to end up with a 25000 seater stadium means that each seat will end up costing £20K! To put this in perspective Falmer will work out at £2K per seat. Seems like a whole lot of money for a temporary stadium to last a few weeks in the summer of 2012.
I think Dorchester had a new ground built as part of a new supermarket deal. Its just off the A35 bypass and is pretty modern and upto football league standard.
I'd like to see White Hart Lane redeveloped, but I can't see how you could fit 52000 people into the site, and how the local transport could cope with it? It is bad enough with 36,000 fans!
How can a modern steel & concrete building which should fire detectors and sprinkler systems burn to the ground like that? What could have been inside it that was so combustible?
Had the pleasure of flying into Dublin a couple of years only to see a flurry of rockets heading up towards the plane! The pilot apoligised after we landed for the antics of the local youth. There were so many fires in the streets that it looked like a warzone. The next day it was clear that...
Not impressed with his piss poor attempts to join in with the crowds chants on Saturday. Seems like the Birmingham board have had enough of him judging by what they wrote at the weekend in the match programme.
When does his current contract expire? I seem to remember he was only signed on a short term contract when he first came here. Has it since been extended?
