Whereas in football that NEVER happens...

I'm not a great fan of Murray as I don't like how he plays the game. There are other players I prefer to watch. However, this fact does not mean Murray's a bad player (he isn't). Why can this country not deal with the middle ground in sport? Why are teams/players either the best in the world ever 0R shit? This is very rarely the case, and never the case for anyone's whole career (if you've heard of them it means they're quite good).

I don't think he'll win Wimbledon, and I don't want him to at the moment. US/Australian Open, possibly. Good luck to the bloke.

Agreed, im English, he's a sweaty. They don't like us,nor we do them. He's not good enougth anyway.federa will wipe the floor with him when it comes to it.

This. My dad was in a pub in London watching Roddick vs Murray 2009 Wimbeldon semi-final (Roddick is a hero) and was sitting next to a bloke who was going "Come on Murray, get in there Murray etc.". The moment he lost, the bloke stormed out shouting "Useless miserable Jocko twat".
