pretty sure first 2 seasons at withdean season ticket sales were capped. this was to generate MORE revenue not less. The club makes more money selling a seat at full price game-by-game rather than as a season ticket.
also if they'd sold every seat as a season ticket how much cash would be...
how could we sell 8,000 season tickets next year! away end holds just short of 1,000, you have the corporates, you have the family stand which i think is mainly used for family ticket promotions, plus the club needs the individual match ticket revenue for a little cash flow i would think...
just goes to show that the old round-by-round format was much better than the tedious groups system.
this game looks interesting, then nothing of note until next year when the last 16 round knock out starts
works well with his tanned dome.
wish he'd dress smart on match days mind. looks a bit non league when he steps out in that tracksuit & cap combo. in fact he should go with that blue shirt and t-top number tomorrow afternoon. dean white should be in the sportswear, slade should be sharper.
pretty sure we sold out our allocation of 5,000 for that horrific 5.0 game. we then took 3500 for the sweet 1.0 victory 2 years later on a thursday night.
that 5.0 game was a horrible horrible day.
however i can just about come to terms with that defeat because i have convinced myself that...
train surely? specially now the little away walkway connects the station to the away end. change at london bridge both ways. follow the away end signs from south bermondsey station.
i voted gobby little shite and i don't think we should touch him. we've had problems with billy big time types unsettling the dressing room before and i don't think we need a stroppy gob shite playing in the stripes, thank you very much.
do you remember when we drew 1.1 V scunny and he was...
its pretty good for a freebie. stop complaining!
next time round though, could you show more match footage please. misses and incidents etc as well as the goals. i thought mcnulty came across fairly well if you can get past the scouse accent, and harty is and always will be a legend. 6...
no chance. pompey have NO money plus he's already playing for a much better team and a manager who rates him.
plus he knows it would be a bit painful for us if he played for pompey or palace - well that's what i like to think anyway!
