No, just a hunch. The logic being that someone willing to pay £24 for an uncovered seat in the South Stand now would pay £25 for a covered one at Falmer. In fact, inflation alone at 2% per annum over the two years would cover such an increase. However, apologies for presenting the price as fact.

I also thought match admission was either £10 or £1. Apologies to those I criticised for stating they paid £5. (unless they were overage and should have paid the same as me, that is!)

No, seagullsovergrimsby forgot to state that this was the value of the site after redevelopment.

s it safe to replace my 700 mA phone charger with a 1000 mA one?

If this is a possibility, then I can only assume those multi-phone chargers you can buy with various adaptors are low powered, and therefore couldn't charge a completely flat battery designed to be used with a higher rated charger.

s it safe to replace my 700 mA phone charger with a 1000 mA one?

(1st word should read Is) I have a new phone, a Vairytouch/Vegas model which uses a mini USB port for charging via a 700 mA charger. I have an existing 1000 mA (1 Amp) charger from a Tmobile Vario which uses the same port; would this be too powerful to use with the the new phone? My concern is...

That's now 3 people saying they got in for £5. If you really went, as I did, you'd know it was £10

Ticket prices at Falmer will be at least £25; if you think we are going to sell the place out for the first season then you are deluded.

Happy Peter Ward day, 27th March!

It was St. Ledger day, and I had to bunk off double economics to get to this match. Encountered a Herefordshire bull in a narrow passageway outside the ground before the match. I had no idea who had scored, or even who Peter Ward was. I think their equaliser was punched over the line. We took a...

    Times Online

I think the newspapers only have themselves to blame for falling sales. I was surprised when they first started putting content online; it's obvious they would lose the sales of those who only have a few minutes each day to read a paper.

T-Mobile boosters: How do you top up less than £10?

T-Mobile's crappy website won't tell you what denominations their top-ups come in, or even how to go about getting one. On this page Pay as you go Boosters – Pay as you go – T-Mobile it invites you to swap your top-up for a pay as you go Booster, but clicking on Internet Boosters reveals...

Most people would have bought one from the conductor, or used Hove ticket office or would have a season ticket.

What s your favourite Brighton & Hove Station?

Don't need the library, I remember from when I lived in Sussex in the 70s. The northbound carriageway of Boundary Road, Portslade was in West Sussex and I presume the southbound carriageway is now in Brighton & Hove.

Blackthorn: now sweet and weak pisswater

Isn't this inviting a writ, and (even worse) encouraging others to do so? I know it's your site, but if an organization which isn't a limited company is successfully sued, I believe its members are all equally liable. Although with no private address database, they may just choose you to pay up!
