It's the Football League, not the FA, that hand out refereeing slots. But yes, any accusation of fans being a bit racialist would be handled by the FA.
Haha! Just got back from Old Trafford and the most comprehensively good Sussex one-day performance I can remember. Hooper and Law both out in single figures, brilliant bowling and fielding, and splendid batting from Monty and Murray.
Oh, and I got to have breakfast in Trof in Fallowfield...
I can heartily recommend Lancs v Sussex live in the National League on the BBC interweb thingy tomorrow, starting at noon

One of the commentators, I'm told, is talented, attractive, and well-toned.
When we were in Div 3 I would quite frequently set fire to my Argus in disgust at some of the shite lines they often churned out. For example: "Albion went to Hull and back last night - and came away with a well-deserved point".
Or: "Albion successfully tamed the Shrews at Gay Meadow...
Got to agree there -- used to share a house with a Nottingham bloke and East Midlands can be really grating.
"Nairw! Nairw! Com offit! Yiv got tobbe fokking jairwking!"
Despite its title, The Arsenal Stadium Mystery is actually a cracking black and white detective type thriller and is well worth watching next time you're off sick and it's on the telly!
I'd just like to point out that even though I don't really count her among my friends (nor does she me among hers I would imagine) I do have THE Helen Chamberlain's mobile number!
Nur nur-nur nur nur.....
Well it was in the kitchen my parents' house in Brighton when I was growing up, but then when I was about 7 we took it out and got a gas cooker instead.
You what? Oh sorry, I thought you said stove of your life.
I think the choice and quality of Albion-related tat has actually vastly increased since we've had a club shop in the middle of Brighton. For example those "Brighton Babe" vest tops and "Brighton Peer" t-shirts are great, and I've got one of the long sleeved t-shirts with "Brighton Rock" on it...
I'm with you on this one, Goring. I earn something like that average figure you quoted, and I live very comfortably in the north of England, where I stayed after leaving Brighton to go to university.
All Brightonandhove seems interested in is bringing down more trendy Londonders to clog the...
There aren't any nuclear power plants in Cumbria. Windscale and Calder Hall have both shut down... Sellafield is a reprocessing plant. It gets waste from other power plants, cleans it up a bit, then gets rid of it.
And the north Cumbrian coast... anywhere north of Maryport... is fabulous, with...
The Darkness are f'kin ace! If not the saviours of music, they're definitely the saviours of falsetto rock and roll...
Will get the new Coral album soon. Also just had on British Sea Power... a band based in Brighton. Ace too.
I agree. In fact, with a bit more foresight by the BOC and Manchester Council, it could have been the new national stadium instead of just giving it to City for not very much.
I have been there, though, for an athletics grand prix just before the Commonwealth games, and it's fantastic.
