One of the cinema's true hard men, no-one will ever forget the role of Danny in the Great Escape. Yeah, OK Death Wish was enjoyable shite, but what about Mr Majestyk and the melons. Gone but not forgotten.

He appeared in some shite but is a legend for The magnificent Seven and Once Upon a Time in the West, two of the best Westerns ever made.

And on the evening that 'Once Upton A Time In The West' was being shown on telly too.....

I watched that too. I was really shocked when I heard.

If you're an actor, and you've had main parts in the Great Escape and The Magnificent Seven, you go to that great post-production house in the sky a happy man in my book. Everyone has seen and liked those films.

Bronson was one of the best Western actors ever to have appeared on the big screen and this is sad news.

Not many of original 7 still left...

:(

Undoubtedly his best work was Grange Hill.

He was about as coherent as Charles Manson.
