I can sort of understand him not WANTING to do an interview as he has had a lot of rough decisions off referees this week, and he is likely to get in trouble by talking about it. But then all other managers have to do it, and as written above, they profit hugely from media coverage. Tough luck...
Agree with this, he is quality already and will only get better. Similar to a young Emile Heskey (don't laugh) in my opinion, just hope he doesn't lose his finishing ability like Heskey
I remember being quite excited and frantically texting a lot of people to tell them. I think that was based on his playing career rather than optimism at a brilliant manager in the making
Re the Pompey and Watford games, we obviously excelled in them, but remember Pompey were down to 10 very early on and Watford played a reserve midfield. Promising signs but doesn't prove too much unfortunately
I still can't quite work Sparrow out, he's shown he's got the skills to be a top player at this level, but also seems to never get a decent run of games in the side for various reasons. Just not sure how good he really is!
Kish is retiring so can't be included.
I'd say only Greer, El-abd, Bridcutt, Bennett, Noone, Murray, Wood and maybe Sparrow would make a mid table Championship team
Haha. Thoroughly deserved win but could have been different had Ferdinand and Vidic been fit and Carragher highly sent off. Credit to Dalglish though. Can pin most of the success down to getting shot of sulky Torres and bringing in a class act like Suarez. Carroll will add something different too.
