Was always pathetic how many people on here turned against Chris Wood saying how terrible he was just because we played shit for the last few games last season. Glad to see him doing well and will no doubt come back to haunt us by scoring on the 29th.
Really thought we were much improved last night than on recent showings. Bridcutt, Dunk, CMS and Noone were brilliant. Sparrow also very good again and seems to be nailing a starting position. Harley improved in the second half and Greer was pretty solid. Calderon had a quiet game and Painter...
Sir Nigel has always been a sound poster in my opinion.
This place is getting worse with the negative views on everything. Threads like that SamueJ twat or whatever his name are just pathetic. Mid table is a great achievement and being such a competitive league we can rise and fall a number of...
Think last night was a big improvement on recent showings and so have a bit more optimism, however we have some nasty games coming up so think we are going to drop down a bit more before we rise again:
West Ham (H) Loss
Birmingham (A) Loss
Watford (A) Win
Barnsley (H) Win
Southampton (A) Loss
Just a bunch of kids giving it the biggun and throwing a few coins. But yes when Harley missed the penalty it was rather like feeding time at the zoo the way they all scrambled to the front of the stands. Truly embarassing
Thought he played really well in the second half. Linked things up well and is one of our best quick one touch passers of the ball. His penalty and corners were poo though. If he had a run of games he would be very useful - however I don't think we can play a team with him and Vicente together...
Doesn't take a genius to work out how to sing along to Allllllllll-biiiiiiii-onnnnnnnn or Seagulls Seagulls Seagulls (even if we have got rid of the helpful words on the scoreboards)
Spot on. He's an out and out striker for me, not an attacking midfielder. Should be playing further forward than CMS in my mind. CMS is having to do it all by himself up front and as you say, would benefit greatly if he had someone next to him
Think Sparrow did enough to start again. Expecting the same line up as Hull with an outside chance of Hoskins starting ahead of Barnes. Would prefer to have Vincelot starting ahead of Dicker myself though
