Chippy would have not made a difference yesterday. That's just an excuse. We are not good enough. with the team that we are playing week in and weekout.

How wrong can you be about alexis nicolas. nicolas covers most of the pitch, he's job is to break up play, which he does very well, this also means that he has to pass back. And very few of his passes go astray. That is what a good defensive midfieler does.

SO MAKELELE IS OUT THE QUESTION THEN. MOST WORLD CLASS MIDFIELDERS ARE SMALL.

why not nicolas ? dont forget he played a lot of games for us last season. speciality at the start when we did not have charlie and chippy .we did ok and were never in the bottom 3.have we already forgotton that?

i think you are right if he becomes match sharp i think it should be niholas and hammond in the midfeld

i think your are wrong ,all needs nicholas is a run of games and he will back to his best . dont forget he had a lot of good games
