Interesting that quite a lot of activity seems to be on the entire site, not just the Village Way widening. Are they also levelling out the site prior to commencement of building works later in the spring? Presumably demolishing the Uni buildings will be an imminent priority. I've said it before...

The point I was making is that, putting aside for once concerns of finances and filling Falmer, we have an exciting, modern, iconic stadium to look forward to. Would you feel the same way if we were building 4 stands round a football pitch?

I've been able to go to 7 games (I think) this season - missed all midweeks and one or two others. Saw the first game in August - it is now nearly next year and I haven't seen them win yet. Is this a record?

I hope not - if we're serious about building a decent squad, Murray has to be part of the equation. We shouldn't expect Forster to play 40+ games next season - some rotation of our strikers will be essential.

Billy Clarke is currently on loan at Darlington, I understand. 8 goals in 18 league games and Darlington would like to keep him. If we're looking for a bit of height and muscle to add up front - at 5ft 7 ins he might not be the answer.

Not wishing to sound negative, but he is 31, not 30. He's also had a fairly recent serious knee injury. If he's offered a contract let's hope he's subjected to a more rigorous medical than the one that McLeod passed.

Did my eyes deceive me or was Fraser about to come on as sub, then Forster ran up and said a few words to MA - then Robinson came on instead. If so, it might tell us something about MA's authority (or lack of). As it was, Robinson looked good and he seems to bring out the best in Cox too...

What's puzzling me is why they're digging up the whole site in order just to widen Village Way?

What have the club told you about the timing and format of the event? As I can't go, I want to have a picture in my mind about what's going on and what's happening - and to be tuned in to local radio for any live coverage. How sad is that!
