I've lost a kilo in a week, now 91.5 . . . . Still too heavy, and TBH I'm not really trying that hard, just avoiding the obvious pitfalls.

I've convinced myself easing in gently is better than the full torture mode.

I've never done KG before but 13st 10-11 used to be my good average in my mid 40's . . . .that was 8 years ago and a lot has changed since then. Under 14st And staying there must be the goal.

on that note, I'm cyxling off to work

I thought this was quite apt.

No need to flap yet, changing old habits isn’t easy!

1 Jan: 82.35kg (13st 0lb)
8 Jan: 80.8kg (12st 10lb)

Loss from 1 Jan 1.55kg (4lb)

I’m very happy with that - I’ve managed to shed everything I put on over Christmas, plus a bit more. It’s a whopping 5.7kg (13lb) loss since 1 November, when this thread spurred me into action.

I know it’s going to get harder to lose the rest to get down to my target of 79.4kg (12st 7lb), but it’s a good start 😀

1/1 84.1 kgs 13 st 3 lbs

8/1 83.4 kgs 13 st 2lbs.

Slightly disappointing, as I thought it would be better after my 10 day gluttony programme finished on the 2nd Jan. Ho hum. Onwards and downwards.

At least I am now protected from seeing Tesco Express and all the other takeaway venues of Shoreham. I did read an interesting article yesterday about how, constantly being shown pictures of food does actually make us want to eat more.

Well done and good luck to all those re-starting this challenge.

I'm surprised really... other than no booze for 7 days I didn't think I'd done much clean eating, maybe grabbing a couple of biscuits after dinner instead of some pie. There is a 12 month aged Christmas pudding calling out to me nightly but so far I have resisted the call.
I finished the rump end of a giant white chocolate Toblerone last week. Just couldn't chuck it. It did not help the weight loss
