Scary number of calories in a big pizza - well over 1,000 for a full pizza. If you like Italian food far better to go for a pasta dish, but be wary of creamy sauces.
I mean you’re not wrong. However, these pizzas aren’t the usual a tonne of tomato and mozzarella plus whatever toppings you have on top. They are crispy Roman style, mostly ‘white’ so no tomato and mozzarella plus, just slices of mortadella and a little Gorgonzola - stuff like that! (I should post pics but probably not the way forward for essentially a dieting thread!!).
I’m down from 89.6 to 89.4, with 3 days left here in Italy. If I can stay under 90kg until I go home I’ll be happy. Then the hard work back on my rower starts.

My objective is to fit into a size 30 inch waist jeans comfortably. I never want to go over 10 stone. I pretty well achieved this last year, by being ultra disciplined from about May. However, when I returned from holiday in October, I threw caution to the wind, and before I went to bed on 2nd Jan, I weighed 10:07 1/2 Shameful ! I'm only a little bloke.
My weaknesses are chocolate and cake. I'm lucky inasmuchas I chose to avoid alcohol throughout last year, and will continue to do so, until I go to Porto in July. I refuse to eat after 18:00, and intend to go out for a walk every evening after supper. I'm retired, and aim to do in excess of 10,000 steps a day. I play table tennis at a reasonable standard twice a week, and am a fair weather cyclist. My normal route is Shoreham to Goring, although Brighton, Ferring and Henfield are good destinations, but not all on the same ride !
I need to let my girlfriend chuck out unfinished food portions, rather than finish it off for her. I hate food waste ! Like most things, this is down to self discipline, which I have lacked for the past few months. I simply became too complacent.
I weighed 10:03 1/4 last night, so I'm looking to lose 5.5 lbs in order to weigh 10:12 max before I go to bed. I'd like to achieve this by the beginning of April.
I wish you all success in this venture, and hope that you achieve your respective goals, thus prolonging your life expectancy.
Onwards and upwards !

Nov’24 closing weight - 12st 4lbs
6/1/25 - 12st 6lbs
Target weight - 13st 13lbs
Feels good to be back in the weight loss thread.

I'm assuming you meant to put your target weight being 11st 13lbs....?

If not..........are you the very devil himself, tempting all on this thread to abandon good habits and join the dark side...?:ban::ban::ban::LOL::LOL::LOL:

Jumping on board a bit late here, 8 weeks on holiday in the last 3 months has not been overly helpful, particularly on the alcohol front 😵‍💫 Gym still being shut until the end of January after the arson attack before Christmas won’t help but gives me a chance to try to up the running a bit I guess (but intake is the main issue for me, can’t out-run a bad diet anyway). 82.5kg today

Well, I'm dreading the initial weigh in on Wednesday. A December of client entertaining, feasting and total lack of restraint has undone all my good work in November.

But I know what to do tobget backnon track. I'll continue to weigh myself daily and will be reporting back here each Wednesday.

Please do join in if you think it'll be helpful. Encourage, support and share what's working for you.

And if you want to, share your weight losses (or gains - let's be honest with each other).

Finally, remember to be kind to yourself - for many of us we're trying to unlearn years, if not decades, of unhelpful habits and behaviours.

Good luck.
I started today, currently 87.7kg... want to be back to 81kg by July... but sooner would be great.

No formal plan, just slimming world recipes, more 'steps' .. exercise... No bread, biscuits... minimal potatoes too, those are my weaknesses that lead to other crap eating.

In. Weighed at 84kg and 24% body fat last Thursday, probs biggest I have been, fat percentage wise. I train regularly, its the booze n calories I need to cut. Started now, aim is for 15% body fat, not so fussed on weights as I build muscle.

1/2 marathon and a 10k to come.
