If you recall the old NSC, people posted quite unpleasant racist stuff, and links to memes about the IRA, 'patriotism', and how the labour party and the democrats are part of a trained communist conspiracy. We can name several people who were eventually been booted off the modern NSC for their trolling (treading more carefully, but in a direction plain to see).Did Bozza just flounce?
You seem like a sensible chap, I'm surprised it took so many year to realise debating politics online is the most futile waste of time available to a person.
It is no wonder others have mobilised against this.
I would never have posted anything political on NSC were it not for the provocation. I have developed a long ignore list because I don't see the point discussing issues with the trolls.
Over the years however we have got very used to politics on NSC, and I would say that more than 90% of it is perfectly fine. I don't see any need to flounce. That said, the moderators can't put anyone on ignore so I guess it can be a bit annoying for them. The price of power and responsibility
