Falmer North Stand

The reason I stated the north stand is because I often think that older fans and families want to sit side on and there is the tradition of the 'old' north stand at the Goldstone. As others have said, the noisiest part of the ground tends to come from behind one goal - Fratton park, Anfield, Holt end at Villa etc.

Be great if the Albion always looked to attack the North stand in the second half too :)

the best thing to happen would be pay on the gate at the north stand this way you no all the fans who like to sing and make anoise could be together ,thats why away games like charlton were so good . maybe it would be agood idea to petition the club to leave this section of the ground ticketless then you no your be with likeminded fans who want to make anoise just like the glory days at the goldstone

Were you at the play-off final in 2004?
Outnumbered by Bristol City fans who were playing a game just 20 odd miles up the road.
We totally out sang them all game, even before the penalty,
you might be surprised about Falmer!

I understand your logic but what if you want to be a season ticket holder AND be in the mix?

right, so we're agreed on kazoo's and flares yeah?

And a sacrificial PIG.

you live in a dream world. Since when did clubs listen to fans? Especially when it concerns ticket sales.

Yes but it is never a problem getting the fans up for it for a big game like that. Home to Barnsley on a Tues night in November will be a bit different though.

If we were to sell 10k season tickets at Falmer i think it would be fair to say that there would be limited tickets available on the day in the North Stand.

That is why we need a hardcore of singers in the north stand who go to every game, not just people who turn up for the big games.

No one wants it to happen. But it will. Because there's only a tiny % of brighton fans who are exhibitionists; that's what it takes, a bloody big gob. And we don't have them in abundance do we? On average, there's no passion, immagination or will to create an atmosphere amongst Brighton fans. Plenty of people enjoy an atmosphere. But most ain't prepared to make it. Especially when sitting down where you can easily be seen. Them's the facts I'm afraid.

True, but there would of been a lot of middle class rural types in their Country Casual gear there.

Many bought a commerative t-shirt that day instead.

most fans dont go now because its shit youve got to think about all the people the ones who dont go anymore weve got to get them to come back andnew fans to..think about the future if they turn up for the big games and its all good there probally come back for the small games and become regulars

i no all that but you got to start some were weve lost ageneration of fans old and new if the older ones came back there the ones who remember the old chants and songs and would start to build an atmosphere thats why yuou need aspecial stand for everyone like the old north stand you new what you were getting when you went in there

f***ing hell you think you're pretty f***ing special don't you?

as for the atmosphere makers: do it.

Ignore the too cool for school twats

Ha ha - touchy subject? How was trombone practice?

As for the rest, fair enough if you want to have your singing stand, fair enough if you want your drums and flags, I just don't think it works in English football and certainly not with the size of crowd we will realistically get.

Good luck with it all - I'll be in the East with the rest of the lads :drama:
