If we're going to get to and then compete in the premier league we will have to pay wages of £20k plus, and Bloom is clearly going for it.

It is absolute tosh - I know someone in the boardroom of a club who were interested right to the death but never pursued it to the bid stage. They did their research and he wasn't looking for anything like that amount although I can guarantee that it IS considerable in the context of our club. Had QPR's board backed their manager's judgement then he still wouldn't have got £20K and they were prepared to pay top dollar.
