[Albion] Club selling your seat, is this right?

Yes I think this is the reason which again I understand. My wife and son are both MyAlbion+ members for sometime and I think by being a member you are automatically on the waiting list. I see the Club are flogging half season season tickets so its not full up is it ?
Yep. It is full up. They're flogging half season tickets for the WSL - but not the Mens PL.
There was a waiting list this year - as renewals were > 95%.

Yeah, I get that, but I was replying to someone who suggested listing tickets in bulk. The idea is ok but if your plans change and you can attend but the ticket is sold then you miss out.

Indeed you do, once sold its always sold whether individually or bulk. I don't see how it would be fair to cancel the ticket from the new buyer in any instance...Can you imagine being the buyer and buying the tickets for a special occasion, or flying in from somewhere as you are a far away fan, to find out the ST holder cancelled them and wanted them back, you'd be on here with a thread in the reverse...just doesn't work on any level...

Looking at the terms - it does actually say the club has the right to sell your ticket on a match by match basis - IF - your season ticket has been suspended.

16.12. C >> the Club reserves the right to sell the seat associated with any relevant Season Ticket to a third party for the period of suspension of the Season Ticket.

Don’t list them in bulk then?

It’s not a hard process to list or share your ST. I did mine for Brentford during my Boxing Day dump.

You get 19 games in your ST so that must be once you must attend 4.75 matches how does that work out ? must be 5 therefore how can anyone have had this penalty already when we have more than 5 games at home remaining?
And the penalty according to the terms is potentially non renewal of the season ticket - not - suspension of your ticket midway through the season and sale of tickets to a third party.

Perhaps there was some correspondence in previous seasons or missed calls from unknown numbers etc. Sure you can appreciate the scepticism given the drastic action seemingly taken.

I can understand the frustration under these circumstances to a degree but when it takes less time to list a ticket than it does to drop a large log (and both can be done simultaneously!), it’s hard to have too much sympathy.

As for other posters expecting that the Albion accommodate every changing personal life scenario imaginable, I really struggle.

It’s almost on a par with the season ticket holder that left a calendar by a bin and shared their financial hardship from it being taken in one sentence, whilst referencing their 2 pints and a pie game ritual in the next…

What happened to personal ownership/responsibility?

BHA may be a football club but it’s also a business, and who would knowingly run a business inefficiently? Life is unfair sometimes and sh*t happens but the Albion can’t realistically be expected to accommodate every individual need.

Ultimately, any season ticket holder is by definition in a much better position than a lot of other people so, for me, it’s a shrug of the shoulders, a lesson learnt and a case of moving on…

You can't list them in bulk, anyway. Only a few games ahead, and only if the game has officially sold out.

I need to list 2 of ours for the Bournemouth game in February, but can only do the January (Arsenal and Everton) matches, right now.

I haven't seen your other 8 posts over the last 13 years but your second paragraph in this one certainly nails it!!!:lolol:

No previous contact needed as he’d attended all matches, his second child was only born this season thus making the fixtures more of a struggle to attend. If they had tried calling would a voicemail perhaps have been prudent?
Obviously I understand the scepticism, it’s NSC’s way, if it hasn’t happened to people directly then there’s no way it can have happened at all, right?

FML. It’s not me who’s had the season ticket issues, it’s my friend. Someone else suggested that he listed them in bulk, I was countering the response as to why I didn’t think it was a good idea.
I’m delighted for you that you had time, my friend’s hectic work and family life has meant he’s had to change plans last minute due to childcare, he’s not always afforded the luxury of time.

Has he managed to get his seat back for the rest of the season?

I can list mine for any remaining fixture this season…….they obviously won’t go on sale until the Exchange is ‘open’ though (ie post official ‘sellout’)
