Good to get back running today after a 9 week break. I fell over and did some ligament damage which has been slow to heal. Eastbourne for me and back to the winter out and back route. Not worried about the times just enjoyed being involved again.

[Albion] Locadia has had ENOUGH and wants OUT !!

If I was him I’d want out too. Doesn’t like playing in our 11 man defence and with Andone coming good will get even fewer chances. I think there’s a good player in there just not working out for him here

Ran Bedgebury Pinetum Park run yesterday. Great course through the pinewoods on a decent path with added bonus of the pine trees fragrance masking the sweating 180 runners labouring up the tough hills. I narrowly beat a tiny kid who couldn’t have been much over 3 feet tall. I went over to...

I saw the pain on your face that day and that was only after an hour. I just checked the strava segment and if the course follows the stadium perimeter path it’s 0.4 miles with 73ft elevation. I’ve run round it a few times always anti clockwise and running the steps. After 3 laps the steps...

Sounds like a busy weekend for nsc’s runners. Good luck everyone. I got out yesterday for the first time since putting my back out re loading the paper tray on the printer last week. Got Newick 10k next weekend which will now be a gentle training run.

And the winner is.... Great fun today. knocky1 smashed it coming first in his age group. Loving the triathlon challenge and going to use this year as an experience and use the winter to learn how to swim properly. Now going to focus on beating my 5k pb before the year is out.

After deciding not to risk Hastings seafront ended up at Eastbourne again. It's fairly sheltered, wasn't troubled by the wind and managed fairly consistent splits coming in at 20:52. Interestingly Caroline Wood from Hove Hornets was runnnig her 325th parkrun there. I don't know her age but she...

Swerved running for most of this week and again today. Way too hot and enjoy my Sunday lie in's too much to get out like many of the dawn chorus runners on here. I did manage Eastbourne park run yesterday where 21:01 was enough for 13th. About 50 down in numbers so either the school holiday...

Nsc’s (3rd) finest plus Eamon. Great fun tonight and good to put some more faces to names. Felt like March in the sea mist and team 3 needed ovaltine and a blanket before the delayed start but we toughed it out and came home strongly with ben Elton’s brother getting stronger the further we...

Ran the Martello triple challenge half marathon earlier. Started on seaford seafront then through Bishopstone up to Firle beacon and along to Bo Peep on the SDW before turning back towards the coast and into seaford. The first 7 miles are tough going with what seemed to be a largely unbroken...

21:13 on the much slower summer route at Eastbourne parkrun today. It's a nicer run than the winter out and back but I'd guess around 30 seconds slower. It proved to be enough for 20th out of 350 odd runners so maybe everyone was struggling. Somehow I seem to be running a half marathon trail...
