I was at that, mainly because my kid brother really wanted to go and my ex at that time was a huge fan.
Magnapop played too and were great, but generally the day was crap. It was baking hot and there was no shade and the security confiscated our bottles of water on the way in. Had to queue for...
The north coast has the best beaches of anywhere in the UK. Holywell Bay is beautiful and Polzeath isn't far behind.

I was never a big REM fan, although there's no doubting they have released some absolute corkers over the years.
I do remember a mate trying to get me along to this though, but I couldn't be arsed as Peacehaven to Worthing and back was a right pain...
Very well put. It is ridiculous to be doom-mongering at this stage, but there are some on here who seem to have absolutely no sense of perspective.
Palace (boo! hiss! etc) lost their first 3 league games last season, and were bundled out of the League Cup by lower league opposition (Preston)...
That actually made me laugh out loud, which alerted my colleagues to the fact that I probably wasn't doing what I'm paid to do.
My manager is a Derby fan living in Brighton - this is a 'must-win' game as far as I'm concerned!
Two games, two losses. Let’s distract ourselves with music again.
Indietracks was bloody awesome. Again. As always.
Highlights for me were Tunabunny kicking up a racket; Frozy (partially straight outta Seaford) playing a beautiful, playful set in the church, directly followed by Fireworks...
Frazzles are for losers, surely? Any of the others should be in with a shout, but then I remember we live in a society which made Jade Goodie and Katie 'Jordan' Price in to massive stars.
Wholeheartedly agree. I generally find myself wondering what the moitivation behind the band reforming is / was, and then curse them for mucking about with cherished memories. It's worse with a band I used to love, not so bothered when it's a band I used to feel a tad 'meh' about.
I was never a massive fan, but they certainly seemed to play the hits with a lot of enthusiasm and energy. Some of my mates there are massive Bis fans and described the set as "absolutely awesome". Bis also hung around afterwards and signed records and chatted and were generally all-round good...
Just heading off to Indietracks - well excited!
The download I mentioned in the opening post gets better every listen. This is my current favourite...
Bloody love it.
I had / have loads of those 'The Catalogue' flexis from my days in record shops - the Cartel rep would always leave a dozen copies or so. Wouldn't be surprised if this one is worth a wee bit nowadays, if only I'd known back then!
Also, never apologise for something being too big.
I've gone for 8th, but I'm hoping that I've been unduly negative and we'll have a massive surge once Oscar's found his feet, finishing in the Top 6. Anything lower than 8th would be a touch disappointing though. Still, it's an exciting season ahead :o)
Arf!
Did anyone on here know Grant who set up La-Di-Da records? He had some awesome gigs in his parents' kitchen and back garden - Blow Up, 14 Iced Bears, The Friendly Fires, Curtain Twitchers etc...
