Scariest thing about that picture is Sham 69. Really?

Hmmm, I think you're probably right - I don't remember Tonieee being able to dance like that. If you want to check 'em out, there are some free downloads here - http://www.last.fm/music/Hello,+How+Are+You%3F

No problem; PM me your address and I should be able to get a set sent your way early next week - bit of a hectic schedule at the mo.

The chap with the long hair is Tonieee who, as well as being in Velodrome 2000 (who played a triumphant and fantastic one-off reuinion show at Indietracks last year - first time I'd seen them since a brilliant gig with The Blue Minkies down at some venue I can't remember the name of near Pool...

    ***World's Greatest Crisp 2013-FINAL-Frazzles v Monster Munch***

A dramatic gesture, but entirely in proportion to the levels of disgust being shown by the electorate. One wonders what a psephologist would make of the voting throughout this contest.

How do I go about spoiling my ballot paper? Where's the option for None of the above? I can't believe that a woman died via racehorse to take part in this farce. Britain deserves better.

Ahhh yes. The appearances on Top of the Pops were always great, but 'Gregory's Girl' taught me how to swoon. *sigh*

Hmmm, the 5... let me guess: Tullycraft, The Radio Dept, 'Allo Darlin, The Pains OBPAH, and Shrag? And yes, I'm hoping for an unbroken spell of 8 winning games now. It's great being an optimist!

It's a top tune, pop pickers. The whole 'Secret of the Loveninjas' album is just a wonderful mix, veering from pure-pop, to Pulp-like anthems, to shoe-gaze beauty. Genuinely awesome and probably pick-upable for 4 or 5 quid on Ebay. One of the Top 10 albums of the last 10 years (in my chart anyway).

Disc 3 Disc 4 If anyone else fancies a set, PM me your address. It'll take me a while to get 'em sorted, but good things come to those who wait. Apparently. Oh, and if you think that you can't have an indiepop song that's almost 6 minutes long, check out this all-time classic and prepare...

Try as I might, I could only cut down the compilation for HKFC and Tinycowboy to 103 songs, and even that's with leaving out way too many corkers. I was going to organise the tracklist so it runs like a seamless mix from C86 copyists, to shimmering pop specialists, to feedback warriors... but...

Don't forget Jem Stone, the promoter. (I'm Murray by the way, but I don't mind being known as *ahem* Sexy Flexy or anything else.)

It's funny, I was having this conversation yesterday. I hate cassettes and think it's a bit elitist to release stuff in this format as so few people have working cassette descks. But, when I was speaking to some 20 year olds in a bands a short while back, they were saying that they release...

Think of all the sacrifices that have been made thus far in this competition, think of all the vegetable oil that has been spilled, the tears of disappointment and the howls of rage. Think of those loved ones who have fallen, cut down in their prime, and then take a look at this pair of shysters...

Chipsticks do leave your fingers in a greasy, crumby mess, but they taste so much better than MM.
