Whilst I really hope he stays I can understand him wanting to leave (if indeed he does).
Clearly Ulloa will start when (IF) he signs. Given that we only play one up front I think this will mean CMS being relegated to the bench or playing out of position in one of the wide roles. Bearing this in...
I genuinely believe IF we can get the personal terms sorted ok (don't want to count chickens) that we will have serious chance of promotion this season.
Sounds like EXACTLY what we need.
In the prog today that you are allowed an £8 million loss next season and £5 million the season after. The values will continue to go down after that but not sure how quickly.
Poyet also said he would have put him on if we were losing the game so it'd not like he was just there in case we were 3-0 up.
Had it been 0-0 with 15 mins to go I'm sure he would have come on.
Today's game was not the game for him
A debate is not embarrassing. Contact the club and discuss any grievances. Barber has already responded in the programme in the past to people's complaints. Debate is a good thing. A pathetic banner at a match screened live across the world is not and does (as one poster quite rightly put it)...
Fully agree. Thought it was pathetic and embarrassing.
No doubt the type of people that demand we spend millions of pounds on players and then complain when the price of a pie goes up 50p.
Absolute joke of a banner that those responsible should be ashamed of.
No - completely agree. When CMS went off the defenders had all the time in the world to pick out long passes.
Great finish by Hoskins though so nice to have options (even nicer if we get another option)
Interesting to see if he starts when Buckley is fit. He played the right attacker role today which he did well but surely Buckley is a better option?
Move him to the left? Harsh on Lua Lua
Can't see a change in formation so will be interesting to see what happens when all 3 are fit.
Did we actually play 2 up front?
My impression was that Barnes played the role Buckley normally plays on the right (that Lopez played so poorly vs Watford)
I may be wrong but I think the difference was that Barnes has more of a strikers instinct than Lopez and so linked up with CMS better.
Like...
Show me the link that says Stephenson was responsible for signing Buckley and Poyet didn't want him and I'll take him off my list. The fact the others are free makes them even greater bargains. CMS has also not been as big a flop as you make out - In the current top 10 scorers in the division...
Or:
1. Lua Lua not rushed back from injury just for sentimental reasons
2. JFC given first team experience and match time rather than spending most time sitting on the bench
3. Dobbie dropped after a PATHETIC display at Charlton showing all players they have to play well to keep there places...
If (as Moosedog has said above) foreign loans class as temporary transfers rather than loans I have no problem with it. As long as you are breaking no rules good luck to you. Hope you continue to do well and knock Palace out of the Play off spots!
