So there's 6 teams that aren't on that page that will probably all have better odds. Add that to the 3/4 that are in there makes us about 10th favourite. In other words(!) we're predicted to finish just above mid-table.....
I guess it's a case of getting in a request for a ticket in early (i.e. as soon as the club releases the tickets for the game).
Also, there'll always be STH that can't make games and hopefully there will be some form of ticket exchange for that.
Personally I want to see a few games but am...
When (if?) are they going to put blanking boards at the rear of the east stand. It looks rubbish as it is and they've only a 3 weeks left.....
Same question goes for the north corners.
Which is totally pointless as most petrol stations are franchises.
The only wallet to suffer would be franchisee (i.e. some local bloke and his family) by putting him out of business.
So you don't go to BP but, for example, a supermarket who get their fuel from, guess who, BP :D
The seats.
I guess the white lines won't go in until a few days before the 1st match.
I believe that at the end of the month, the stadium is finished but the actual facilities aren't. i.e. stuff like signage, seat numbering, cosmetics etc. are all the responsibility of the club, not the...
4 to 5 thousand from what I've read here. Basically quite like the WSU.
I think the stand will come down a lot further than it looks.
Are they boarding it up for now though? Would look better than all open and unfinished. Same question for the north corners....
Are they issuing actual tickets (as in paper ones like now) rather than a swipe card system?
It will be a bit harder to share a card (which could get lost) and next to impossible to resell on here (no-one is going to give their season ticket card to a stranger!).
How are the club dealing with...
Claim costs are rising due to accident management companies stretching out hire car costs. Many repairers keep the car for far longer than they need to (so hire car costs rise even further) as they book "for the week".
People do NOT *need* like for like hire cars, a mid-range hatch (Focus/Golf...
No chance every week imo. Maybe against Manure, Liverpool, Arsenal etc. but not in mid winter against the likes of Wigan, Fulham, Bolton, Blackpool etc.
I would say late 20s on average, full house of 30k (ES upper and corners filled in as planned) for big games, 26-28 for most other games and...
Options are always there, realistic (extending the ends) or not (raising the ES/WS roofs), if you have the money and can convince the council to grant planning permission. :)
Ignore the naysayers, without what they call "JCL"s (please use smilies if only joking etc.), the support will be ever dwindling and we'll end up with crap attendances all the time.
The club is on the up and with that we have new fans, returning fans, kids who would have supported bigger teams...
Aren't the arches holding the whole thing up, you can just take it out and raise the roof easily.
I think they could (and they won't) raise the roof at the ends (let's face it, they are where more seats would be needed/wanted else they would look even smaller) without affecting the arches.
As...
As I understand it, filling in the corners gets it to about 25/26,000, the east upper is another 4/5,000 giving 30k total. There's not way the upper ES is gonna have nigh on 10,000 seats which isn't far off the TOTAL of the 2 larger tiers of the West stand!
To go above 30k, I think they would...
