Anyone know if they are going to "fill in" the north corners? I don't mean with seats, but to tidy it up like the 2 south corners?
If left as it is, it will look "unfinished" no?
Thanks. Have sent some PMs and will call in morning and see if I get lucky :)
Last game I went to (yeah yeah, bite me) was millennium stadium game vs BC so I won't be on their DB :D
I fully admit I'm a "fair weather" fan, but I am usually busy playing rather than watching sports on a sat. I have an ( first this year) opportunity to watch a game and I just want to do just that.
Niiice. Good to know all our fans at so welcoming. Whether it's a 30 minutes or 300, a wasted journey is a wasted journey. Just trying to find out more before I waste, or not, my journey.
I registered a while ago so no problem there. Will call ticket office in morning.
JCL - Always been somewhat the armchair fan. Not that long back in area (lifelong fan tho) but normally playing hockey on sats but no game tomorrow so thought I cheer on the team.
Anyway, my main concern from the...
Might sound stupid but it's been a while since I've gone to a game and just found out I'm free tomorrow.
I read that you have to be a member to buy ticket, is this right? If I get a ticket from exchange section of site, do I still need ID or proof of membership at the gate?
Basically I don't...
With all the seats, seagull "gap" etc. that the seat installers are just watching this thread and one a big wind up? "Let's see if we can mess with their heads" :D
I think if the resolution was high enough, they're all there pointing a the webcam and laughing ;)
I wouldn't be concerned, when(!) we get promoted there will be a mention. When (if :D) we qualify as Champions there will most likely be a large segment reviewing our season and how it all happened. By then the stadium will be pretty much finished (!) and lots of images on that and our future in...
If they sell out and there is demand for more, will they "rush" through the planning permission to fill the corners (leaving aside the ES upper for next year) and have this done through the summer?
I read it on here, honest guv! :D
I can certainly see how the corners can be done relatively quickly. The ES upper has much of the infrastructure already there.
That's the other thing. For stuff like movies and sports (and nature/space) programmes, it's great imo. If I didn't watch those though, I'd be pretty unfussed by it.
For watching the news, sitcoms, soaps/dramas etc. I think it is wasted (in sense of paying more for it), as long as the normal...
As I understand it, 6 weeks to do the ES upper tier? lower tier would need to be closed to do this I assume.
The corners, I would have thought, could be done anytime?
Will they apply in 2 stages? i.e. request permission for the corners then later the ES upper.
OP, what channel are you comparing? Remember to select the HD version of a given program, e.g. Sky1 HD, not Sky1.
Put on one of the proper HD channels broadcasting a proper HD program. Put on BBC1 when showing soemthing good (e.g. Wonders of the Universe or an Attenborough nature prog) then...
We've all seen images of how the Amex will look this coming season but are there official images (or designs) of how it will look with the east stand upper tier and corners filled in?
Apologies if this thread has been posted before, a quick search proved fruitless. :)
Especially referring to the rear shots in the first photo showing player number, we really should have been sponsored by Tesco value range :D
Less embarrassing than our "pink" shirts though :D
Thanks chaps!
Thought it was more than that though, standing in those days though so can look packed even though not.
I remember Dean Wilking score a great curling free kick, for some reason I thought it was that game, must have been a different boxing day match around those years.
